Unlikely. We've been promised (on russian part of this forum) that it will be a real addon, requiring original Lock On CD to play. What I meant was that I heard that ED will make a package available that contains both the original LOMAC and the add-on. I believe that the 2 CD edition will be comprised of these two items. I don't think that the add-on is bigger than the original game, which only consists of 1 CD. If what I am saying is correct, then the downloadable add-on will not require 2 CDs of harddrive space. But who knows, maybe I'm wrong :?:

I think one of the cds will contain the original Lock On game, and the second cd will contain the add-on. I suppose the ones who want to download only the add-on from their site, will be able to do that, but this is my personal belief, and not based on any statement from ED.

Well, maybe there will be a 1.2. Remember the news of the KA-50 helicopter? I believe they also intend for that to come as an add-on to Lock On. They mentioned a release of that one sometime in 2005, so maybe we will have something to look forward to, in the not-too-distant future. Keep your fingers crossed!

Re: Yet again...dynamic campaign Fair enough. I think the enhancements to the game that Flaming Cliffs will provide are good enough for an add-on. There are a thousand things that could be defined as "a nice thing to have in this game." For example, it would be very nice to be able to climb out of your cockpit after having landed your plane, and walk around the airfield. :D

Yes! At last the English forum is up and running. It's good to see brick after brick fall into place in the wall. It means we're getting closer to the release of Flaming Cliffs every day now... We were warned not to have pictures in our signatures (understandable), because most Russians use modems to connect to the internet. I hope ED has a broadband connection by the time we will download the add-on from your site :D
