does this mean it'll make it into 1.1? Valery just posted on russian forums, that sticky-key bug is fixed now. He also want to thank all members who reported it. THEY have fixed the sticky-keys bug, and THEY want to thank US? :?

Perhaps they will save that for their next project :D

Re: Hints Needed to Complete A-10 Mission (Lockon 1.1 Demo) When I played that training mission, I got the impression that Ironhand showed us the "safe" way to do the job; Not getting too close for proper identification, but close enough for firing all of your Mavericks. Then fly home for supper.

I'm just glad that ED are considering other methods of copy-protection. Once again, they show us that they listen to the community. Thumbs-up to that! I really, really want this sim to do well (swell, actually), and it made me sad to see all the people who said that they would abandon the product if only StarForce would be used. Sad because ED deserves to succeed in their mission (not to conquer the world, but you know..), and having a method of copy-protection spoil it all would be a darn shame!

We are all waiting for the full details about distribution, but be patient, all will be revealed in due time.

Stupid me. I replied without reading your post thoroughly. You state that version 1.2 will support full vector expansion. I thought you said 1.1. My bad. Zoom will be the only feature of 6DOF that will be present in the forthcoming v1.1. Ok, now I think I have the facts straight :oops:

The last thing I heard was that 1.1 supports some, but not all features of the Vector Expansion equipment (can't remember exactly which feature, but I think that zoom was not supported). Well, I'm sure we will know every little aspect of the add-on on the day of release.

What about burning the add-on files to a backup CD. Will that be possible or not, when this StarForce is being used? I am waiting for an official comment from ED on all the issues that the forum users have articulated before I jump to any conclusions. For now, I'm not panicking, I'm just ... anticipating. :)

Yes, now you have to press SHIFT-Home and Alt-Home to start the engines, and SHIFT-End and Alt-End buttons to shut down the engines.

This track is not for the demo. I tried, and it didn't work. Got some memory error. But it works with LOMAC v1.02. Ice, that was amazing to watch, and very, very exciting. You really have to know how to read your gauges and instruments to be able to navigate safely in that kind of weather. Excellent flying!

Yes, I know. Sometimes it can be a real pain in the ass finding your targets. Unfortunately, they often find you first :(

We still haven't heard the final word regarding the distribution details. We will know more when the full version of 1.1 is released.

I guess your commanding officer didn't say the same thing to you after what you did to "his" aircraft :) I have also had a great time flying, and I am speaking of both the A-10 and the Frogfoot. One thing that I noticed when flying along the coastline, is that the waves are actually washing up on the shore. This is a new feature, right? New or old, it's a beautiful little detail. I experienced the sticky keys, but only when I pause the game. When flying, sticky keys does not cause problems for me. I have to play it more to discover all the good (and hopefully, not too many bad) things about 1.1, but already I can say that this is a definitive buy for me! Let me finish with a comment to Ironhand: Great training missions for the Hog! I hope you will stay with us and continue to make further contributions to the community.

Yes, that's the address where I found the horrible price. They want 2490 Norwegian kroner for it, and since there are 6,4 kroner in one American dollar, the price in dollars is only $389. A real bargain, in other words :) I think it would be cheaper to just order it from England, including tax and everything... but that will have to wait. First, I am buying Flaming Cliffs, and then I will see how much more pain my wallet can take :D To Anzac and Viper: Both Portugal and the Netherlands are a part of the EU, so that's why you didn't have to pay tax for it. Lucky bastards :cry:
