A-10C would have to be the best sim I've flown in a long time. Next to my Tu-154M for FS2004. The Steam users sure love it, the group I maintain is now over 200 members strong right now. I think its been quite successful over on Steam.

You may be able to select which engine to control with the X-52's software. I wouldn't know how to pull that off and haven't really needed to, I just use the keyboard also.

Most of this stuff is easy to pick up and the OP said systems not the whole sim. Yeah I have tight grip on the system, so much so that the non-user would say I've mastered it. The only thing I haven't mastered are dealing with fighters and air defenses. I am having problems with LGB employment with the ASL not showing up when its supposed to (although I suspect a bug). I may have been a bit optimisitc when I said "a week or less" (I don't know how long really), but I know I'm no longer learning how to use absolutely everything in the cockpit.

A week or less. The CDU is the big one. I know all of the sys pages and nearly everything else. If anything I can figure it out just be looking at it thanks to prior knowledge. IMHO, flying the A-10C is easy. Trying to avoid SAMs and fighters is the tricky part. :P

Running Windows 7 Professional x64 along side OpenVMS. And I will tell him to go be an annoying know it all somewhere else. :P

I'm not buying a boxed version, I already have the DL. Besides my money is already on Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

I know that was the case for BS, a lot of questions where asked on that portion of the steam forum.

Yes there is an inflight align. Its a bit inaccurate and intrusive (fly in a straight line at a constant speed until its done), but when you have GPS its not much of an issue.

I run the game on an Asus G50VT-X5 laptop. Intel Core 2 Duo, 2.1 GHz 4 GB of RAM Nividia 9800M GT 512MB Windows 7 x64 The game is playable, which is important. Average about 22 FPS, I guess.

In flight alignment or realignment of the CDU is possible in flight. I have experienced this issue before, I just change the way point on the CDU. If you look at the first line on the left, it looks like this ±****, change that to 0 or however many way points you have. That should bring it back.
