You are right but there are lots of folks here who want canard version too. So by just placing the numbers and skins right you can have any version you like to fly. I dont know if you have used this mod when it was released for FC2 and FC3.

If you go back a few pages on the thread and read, you will notice that there are actually 2 jets in the same mod.

Finally, someone posted on topic. Su-30s are very classified(any variant), I dont know if you guys misunderstood me but I was talking about adding my model as its and make Su-30 playable. Also, if possible, my mod will have both Su-30SM and Su-30 MKI in the same model.

Reduce the scale on the hud that way targets will show a bit higher on HUD but will be a it more separated.

The range that you see at the bottom is not range of the radar its actually used to spot targets if you know their distance and relative altitude. In your case they are 30Km away so set that bottom range to 30 and they are at 7000meters and you are at 4000 meters so their relative height to yours is 3000meters or 3kms. So raise your radar elevation to 3 notches. With these inputs radar antennae will orient itself to look at the sky 30Kms away and 3Kms above you. And when you have visual and you still can't see targets is because they are out of your radar's scan zone. Radar's scan zone is essentially a pyramid shaped cone with its tip at the nose of your plane base extended as much as your radar's search range. The more closer the target the smaller is the scanning area of the radar and if you haven't oriented your radar properly you won't be able to see the targets even if you can see them visually.

Only disadvantage I see in this missile is that if you launch it on a pair of jets, and if the jets are flying close seeker will not know which jet to engage and can engage any one of them.

When you see F-15 and Su-27 climbing 38,000 meters, you know things are not realistic.

Then when the target come in the VS zone it will get locked and you will see aiming reticule. May be you will have to lock the target by yourself.

This never happened in SFM. So i gues PFM has to go long long long long way to feel anything near like real flanker.

What i do is i go a little low and little away from where F-5's contrails are and let them pass over me until my radar lock is lost. Then i go into AB and tell my wingman to engage bandit and he immediately go forB-52s and I turn and fire one ET each at F-5s and they are history. My wingman is busy with B-52s when F-4s come up and i take them out with ERs then F-16s come up and i take them out with my last 2 ERs. If in case one of the F-16 evades ER I have R-73s to take him out.
