Hi Mistermann, I'm working on... The problem is because the procedure I used to condense all the logic in a single query... It freezes to previouses results. If you access right now you can find yourself in the first place. If you access to your character statistics page (just for sure with an additional refresh) it will really update your results... It's not a solution. Wrong... I'm near a solution... I'm trying to rearrange the logic in order to make it work in any condition. I will keep you informed. Bye

Hi everybody, just a quick update for the next developments, I will soon release a version of the Logbook sync app with two new features, a really useful one and a "hidden" one. Target definition in a sigle step The first and visibile is a system to update unknown mission targets with a single step: once you input information about a missing target, all the other similar target in the log will be updated at once, I hope this feature could simplify a lot mission debriefings especially for WWII warbirds. This is ready fo the release. Logbook award system prototype Second and "hidden" one is far most complex; After the 2.7 I lost custom ingame U.S. Navy logbook together with earned awards. Also I find U.S.A.F. awards quite disappointing, I earned a Purple Heart after a common successful mission... Well, nothing new and I also understand this is not a key point of the simulation and not so interesting for the vast majority of players. By the way I thought I can do something to improve this feature. For anyone is totally not interested in this subject I remember I created an "Not defined" allegiance not related to any award or rank. Existing characters cannot be converted but if you need to revert to this abstract allegiance please let me know, I can change them manually. What I'm conceiving is a embedded Logbook award system. IMHO main problem of simulations award systems is the evaluation methods, I can get an award if I kill a certain number of targets or if I fly a certain number of missions. In real life awards were and are awarded mainly for acts of valor. For instance, I honestly think awarding MoH is should be virtually impossible for a post Vietnam fighter pilot. Respectfully in all ways for real life heroes and after some researches I'm trying to give an evaluation of: Risk during a combat flight; Number and level of menaces suppressed during a flight; Analyzing log file I was able to create a prototype to have such estimators and the next release of the Logbook Sync App will contain this hidden feature in order to do some evaluations and eventually define ranges on actual awards at least for main allegiances: U.S. Navy U.S.A.F. and U.S.A.A.F. V.V.S. and Soviet V.V.S. Luftwaffe for WWII Other will come later and/or on request.

Hi Oban, For DCS awards are not imported, data are only from mission logs. Awards can be added manually through web interface. Bye
-
Hi Mirabelle, I thought something similar, I will implement this soon. Thanks
-
Hi Speed of Heat, do you mean something remembering fullpath of the logfile? Thanks,
-
Hi Nealius and Oban, Quite easy, done. You should already find it in the list. Please let me know if any plane is missing, adding it is very quick, unfortunately I don't know all the mods around. Enjoy

Hi everybody, I would like to share another little project I developed in last 6 months during my spare time: a 3D printable Luftwaffe KG13B stick. As you can see project is for Warthog base but can be adapted. This is a replica of the stick used in most WWII Luftwaffe fighters such Me109 and Fw190. Starting from a free model I found on the web I deeply revised all the details in order to optimize 3D printing purpose: - Most of the screws are internal; - Models are separated in order to avoid to color them; - Internal space is adapted to common micro switch sizes; - Components thickness is enough to give strength (please note I printed it using ABS, but I think also a strong PLA can be suitable); - Fully working safety using a small magnets; - Some revisions from the original one to optimize usage. As you see replica it come out is pretty similar to real one; all parts are connected with screws and can be disassembled if needed. Screws visible are even few than the real stick, they are mainly inside the internal structure. Only lateral button needs some glue where it joins with handle, this will keep all the object completely dismountable for maintenance purposes. If anyone is interested to STL please write me a message, I decided to share them for a small price privately before start a subscription on any sharing platform (People interested might be few). I will also share schema for the internal board for the Warthog witch is by public use and far known. To resume, I include: STLs to print for yourself Renders showing how to assemble List of parts for the build (screws, resistors, etc) Schema for the internal board (working for Warthog stick) You can print for your own or, if you prefer, ask to print pieces to a 3D printing service. Obviously I will ask to use STLs for your own and keep them private.

Hi KWard, Planes control is centrized, btw I also released an update (to download) right now with your second suggestion. Bye
-
Hi AiryNyan, Just published an update, now you should be able to input text in any language in all the relevant parts. Please let me know if is it all working properly. Thanks!
-
Hi Spad, Sorry, I nearly miss your post, about your questions: Allegiances are very easy to add, I can add new in few minutes (awards and ranks graphics excluded) At the moment administrator can only use "historical" allegiances present, but I can manage any need. Bye,
-
Hi KWard, Just added TF-51, about the second one I will note it for next release. Thanks! Bye
-
Hi AiryNyan, Sure! I will give a check, once done can I ask you for a check? Thanks,
-
Hi Mistermann, Thanks! The issue was present before 2.7 as I can see. It was a missing distance mark in the original LSO grade. Now I managed to fix it and published, now you should be able see your statistics correctly. Enjoy
-
Hi everybody, This 2.7 came with a lot of fantastic improvements but also few small bugs... I created as fast as possibile a new version of the sync tool to manage 2 issues: - At the moment mission time is not recorded, I added two temporary dropdown to set it manually; - LSO grades logs are now completely different, this new tool now can record new ones and also legacy ones; good news is that now they can be correctly associated with players! Bye!
-
In the debrief files time was calculated in seconds after midnight. This was useful to identify time of the day when any event take action, from 2.7 this time code starts from the mission begin.
-
+1 Editing that file can enable US Navy and USMC with their ranks and awards
-
Same thing here after a 2 hour successful mission in a campaign... now I have to refly again. It happens regularly?
-
Hi Tugais, Just added now! Bye
-
Hi Tugais, This is not first time somebody needs this, by the way this is not an option because it is very complex, database references (ranks and awards) are quite strictly related with allegiances. Adding new allegiance instead is quite easy, no problem for that. For your needs I can give you 2 options: - I can change you allegiance manually (this should not be intended for revert because the relations with ranks and awards will be missed) - You can create another pilot for this purpose (this is main purpose for multiple pilot, in my intention) Hope this can help, Bye
-
Hi Mistermann, Unfortunately yes... You can of course upload all but manually if you know details. Platform can manage it. You should sync after each flight or, alternatively just save debrief in game a sync them later, sync app can read both file types. Bye
-
Hi Nirvi, at the moment with logfiles it is not possible but I'm investigating a more extensive integration with DCS, maybe in the future it will be possible.
-
Exactly! And, yesterday I forgot it also to mention that now if you chose "Undefined" as allegiance, parser would not prompt anymore for factions (I noticed this may be annoying for online players)
-
Hi everybody! I just released a massive update. In general new features are intended to online players, I would like give a correct tradeoff for any type of players. Here the list of the new features: Greenie board Now LSO grades are parsed and you can see your own grades in statistics, also you can see you main errors to improve. Now is also avalaible a Greenie board leaderboard and if you have a squadron you can also enjoy same statistics in your squadron home page. Multi flight parsing in DCS Sync I noticed sometimes the parser were not able to parse all the flights in a MP session, now the process is able to reparse log to record all the flights. User calendar Historical dates can be confusing, especially for MP users, so I added a "User calendar" where you can see events arranged by timestamps and not by historical date. If you have more than one pilot you can see all the events merged in one view. Calendar loading improvement Now, with the new calendar system calendars were too heavy, so I completely revised the logic for tha data loading, now it is a lot faster.

Hi MirabelleBenou, I'm thinking to an alternative to the log file... I know is very simple forget it.
