It's a problem because of early access. I'd prefer to wait until the plane is finished but not if it's going to be in EA. Just tell us what planes are being worked on and when they're done. release them. Flying around in half finished planes is not the way to go.

I bolt pedals to a piece of plywood. Then run that up against the wall. Solid as a rock. I started to do that for racing pedals that have a load cell for the brake. It's great for rudder pedals too.

It took me awhile but I finally decided to fly the A-10C II exclusively. I've said it before but only half meant it. I'm dead set on it now. I did a new install of DCS beta. All I installed on it is the A-10C II, Hog campaigns, and the Nevada/PG maps. Now, to do my best to learn it.

In case you didn't know. TM finally updated the slew switch on the new Warthogs. I have one and it looks like the delta mod.

Might as well buy new. It's hard to find them used. I talked to Milan this morning and the pedals will be back in stock at the end of this month.

I watch mostly westerns. Movies and the old TV westerns. I've seen all the Gunsmoke shows 10 times.

You're worse than me. I bought the A-10C in 2017 and never learned it but i'm going to. I started with Lock On too but I learned it and flew a lot. As I did with F4 and now BMS. For race games I started and never stopped racing to this day is Grand Prix Legends. A 1998 game that the community has updated to almost look as good as modern games. I'd hate to think how many hours I have racing it. Then IL2 came out and did that a lot too. Now, I got too old to do any of them justice but i'll still play anyway. It sure beats sitting around watching TV.

Yes, DCS is cheap compared to my past hobbies like hunting and fly fishing. Custom muzzleloaders and custom bamboo fly rods don't come cheap. The A-10C II was cheap for those of us who had the A-10C already and I think I only paid $39.95 for the A-10C when I bought it. I paid the full $80 for the Hornet and Viper.

I feel the same way at times. Plus, at my age it's a challenge to just stay where i'm at. I do the best I can and when I make a dumb mistake I say to myself.....Nice going old man.

At some point you'll be happier when you can buy a HOTAS. I know money can be tight. The problem is you picked a plane that needs a ton of HOTAS presses. More than any other plane.

I get bored and go back to racing or hunting. I sell my DCS gear when I do that. I'm sure nobody would buy my Warthogs if they weren't in perfect condition.

It's the CS and China that's stopping. Not really the problem you had. Yes, i'd buy it together if I did buy it. Since I fly the A-10C all the time now. I like have the Warthog. It just seems right. I've never had a problem with the 6 Warthogs i've owned. When I was thinking about the WW I was still flying the Hornet. Thanks.

Didn't mean to come off like that. I agree TM could give the Warthog more love. I've been lucky and owned 6 of them with no problems. Not even stiction. If anything they have gotten smoother. Maybe they changed the grease they use now. I cure the stiff spring with a 10CM extension and it feels just right with the stock black spring.

Did you doubt those of us who have it? I talked about it 4 months ago and showed the same picture in my thread.

I got the whole HOTAS. That might be the reason. They probably have a bunch of the old throttles left. They don't sell as many of those as the whole HOTAS.+

I'm surprised. I bought two Warthogs from BH Photo and they both have the new slew.

Rudel is a member. I agree with your list and the last one on the list is my favorite. However, the Hornet can also do CAS. Just not as good. Fueling is a pain all the time in the Hornet. Does anybody refuel in the Hog? However, the Hornet has more weapons than the Hog and it can defend itself against fighters.
