  1. Changing to the green spring or use a 10cm extension for about the same feel with the default spring is your only option. You can also just use it as is and build up your strength like the rest of us. I'm surprised you just mentioned the Hornet grip. Didn't it feel the same way with the A-10/F-16 grip it came with or did you just buy the base and Hornet grip separate?
  2. Old thread and drivers. Some things must have changed.
  3. The Hornet out turns the Viper with only 7.5 G's. Why do you need more? Stay friends with the crew chief and leave the paddle alone.
  4. I'd ask WW for size. All you really need is the thread pitch. It will be metric. You can measure the length. Try a hardware store.
  5. Prices are too good to be true. ( For Warthog) https://www.flightsimwebshop.com/collections/flightsimulator-joysticks?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=10y_flash
  6. That is a confusing one because Steam has it's own offline mode. I was just playing around with it for other games besides DCS.
  7. Thank you. Just so i'm clear. If I chose offline mode and then lose my Internet. Is there a time limit to how long I can play? It would be a long time
  8. I don't know how Offline works. If I lost my internet connection. Could I still play DCS? Would there be a time limit? I'm sure this has been talked about but I missed t.
  9. Crusty................It wasn't what you said so much as what Marlan said about real pilots using CCRP for dumb bombs.
  10. Thanks for the answer. I guess i'll have to do some testing in all conditions to convince me.
  11. Yes, I understand in real life. I was asking about in DCS. Lets forget supply for a minute and answer a simple question. What works better in CCRP. Dumb or guided bombs? Second question. Dumb bombs were always more accurate in CCIP than CCRP. Why are has that changed?
  12. Slippa.........I feel the spring in the Warthog stick is too stiff for any plane. I always changed it to this spring and it feels like a different stick. Much more control. https://warthog-extensions-by-sahaj.com/shop/warthog-green-springs/
  13. If the slew is too sensitive. Turn the saturation down to 50%.
  14. For the record. Thrustmaster upgraded the slew control switch about a year ago. Now, it's just as good as anybody else's and never needs to be replaced. Beirut.......You'll be happy to know if you don't already. The A-10C throttle grip is a copy of the F-15E. (just the grip) The stick grip is a F-16.
  15. I used to say the Hog was too slow. Now, i'm so old and slow myself that the Hog doesn't seem so slow anymore. It's like an old friend.
  16. What's the reason for for using dumb bombs in CCRP? Do they work better than guided bombs?
  17. Anything wrong with using CCIP for dumb bombs? It's been working for a long time.
  18. Active pause is your best bet. Fast, simple, and always works. Put it on a HOTAS button.
  19. Yeah, that's the old switch. About a year ago Thrustmaster updated the switch. I had one and it worked good.
  20. Does the Warthog have the latest slew switch? How much? I have a Fanatec Clubsport V3 pedals with only 10 hours on them.
  21. When the day is a little darker or dawn and dusk I use the nighttime yellow. When looking into the sun or clouds I use day time which I have set as black.
  22. The middle number is the color. I know I only change that number when going to black font. Black is 0.

    Factory Slew

I wouldn't buy without knowing for sure if it has the latest slew. Especially, when buying just the throttle. They don't sell as many of those as the Warthog HOTAS and is more likely to be the old style.
