  1. Don't come in on such a steep angle. Landing gear is tough but has limits.
  2. You were raised by wolves. That's something.
  3. Ok. It does sound noob friendly. I never tried it.
  4. You'll find that in pretty much all campaigns if I understand what you mean.
  5. You have the missions that came with the plane to start out with.
  6. Just joined the forum and have one post. Have you done any of this?
  7. Don't forget Chuck's manual too. It was updated 6/2/23.
  8. I do the same thing as Hunter Joker. It works perfect and never moves. Only it wedges between the desk sides and really never moves.
  9. You think the stick is funny coming from an F-16? The throttle comes from an F15E It was easier than making a new stick and throttle when they modified the A-10A into the A-10C
  10. I bought another new Warthog from BH Photo. It's like a drug addiction I can't stop. Oh well. It could be a lot worse. At least I know coming from BH it will have the new slew switch.

  11. Thanks. I guess I better upgrade. I'm back on 516.94. Do you use monitor or VR?
  12. More like a $600 controller than a toy. It's not rocket science. You sit in an A-10 and move the stick around center. You then do the same with your controller. If the controller feels stiffer you use a softer spring. Simple.
  13. TM should have used a progressive spring that would get firmer through it's travel. As is it's too firm around center. A proper curve in settings along with a proper spring would help a lot.
  14. It might be a good project for someone looking for one. We have lots of tutorials to learn weapons and such. A set of training missions would be a good next step.
  15. You can make your own missions but the Hornet comes with a lot of missions already. Something the Viper never got. Look under........Missions
  16. Were talking about spring stiffness feel. Extensions don't matter. You can make an extension feel even stiffer with enough spring tension. The gimbal isn't that bad once it's off the center. It's smoother than most other sticks that you can feel the flat spots. I believe the only way to simulate the real stick is with a force feedback stick.
  17. What drivers are you using now Silver?
  18. I don't understand the stiff spring in the Warthog stick. TM tried to make an exact copy of the A-10. Even down to the same pressure to push the switches. Does the real A-10C have that strong of a spring? I'm sure someone here has sat in or flown an A-10C and can tell us how the real stick feels.
  19. Buying online doesn't save any money?
  20. Too bad you can't afford the ASUS TUF VG27AQ. It's the monitor I have in 27" and is a great monitor. I only paid $300 for it. Too much for your budget?
  21. Changing to the green spring or use a 10cm extension for about the same feel with the default spring is your only option. You can also just use it as is and build up your strength like the rest of us. I'm surprised you just mentioned the Hornet grip. Didn't it feel the same way with the A-10/F-16 grip it came with or did you just buy the base and Hornet grip separate?
  22. Old thread and drivers. Some things must have changed.
  23. The Hornet out turns the Viper with only 7.5 G's. Why do you need more? Stay friends with the crew chief and leave the paddle alone.
  24. I'd ask WW for size. All you really need is the thread pitch. It will be metric. You can measure the length. Try a hardware store.
  25. Prices are too good to be true. ( For Warthog) https://www.flightsimwebshop.com/collections/flightsimulator-joysticks?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=10y_flash
