  1. The throttles should move without programming the idle cutoff. Can you see the throttles moving in the axis menu? Do the throttles work in an air start?
  2. That shows how different we can be. I found the pinky uncomfortable to use. Plus, it has functions in the systems to use it for a modifier. The paddle doesn't. I pretty much keep my little finger on the paddle all the time since as a modifier I use it for much more than zoom. Anyway, whatever works best for anybody is the best way.
  3. I thought motion sickness was a VR thing? I've never gotten sick with a monitor flying. I did with auto racing though.
  4. It is if you expect rotation the instant you pull back. I just pull back some and let the plane decide when it wants to rotate. If you want instant rotation you'll pull back too far and then you have too much pitch to climb out. Be gentle with the old girl. It's not a Viper.
  5. I found the slider awkward. The throttle moves and changes where the slider is if you're using buttons on the throttle. I'm always changing zoom in and out of the cockpit. Reaching for the slider was a pain. My thumb is on the TMS switch naturally and easy to make small adjustments no matter what else i'm doing.
  6. The Hornet might be just as bad once they have the HOTAS updated like the real one.
  7. Well, no sense in talking to the OP. He left the forum right after writing his post and hasn't been back since. He never read any of the posts.
  8. Flying the Hog is a tough memory test for old farts to remember button presses.
  9. I don't claim my way is the best. Just the way I do it. Since the plane takes up all the buttons and switches on the Warthog except the paddle. I make a modifier out of the paddle. I then use with the paddle the TMS forward and aft for zoom in slow and out. This also gives me the option to program a lot of stuff with the modifier.
  10. You refreshed my memory. You don't want to steer the front wheel while sitting still. Tough on the tire. No way to check the rudder action without disconnecting the NWS. Thanks.
  11. Twist will work but takes a big curve for control.
  12. Why do they program shutting off the NWS on the paddle if we never have to turn it off?
  13. You all should thank him here. https://forums.eagle.ru/forum/english/dcs-world-topics/guides-tutorials-aa/135071-chuck-s-dcs-tutorial-library/page42
  14. It might be hard to find someone using it.
  15. Can you use an AI? Better than nothing.
  16. The way I understand it is you shouldn't be able to change the code in the air. It's always done on the ground. The Hornet and Hog are wrong and the Viper has it right. JTAC needs to change their code to what the bomb has.
  17. The new one updated for the A-10C ll is out. Go get it!
  18. I keep it simple. My keyboard is right in front of me and holding my head where I want it and tapping F12 is easy. I only need to do it once when first getting in the cockpit. Actually, you don't even need to be in the cockpit to do it. You can do it on the last page showing before clicking the button to enter the cockpit.
  19. I'd like ED explain this one. BigNewy I know you're reading this. :) I just did a new install of OB. If I install A-10C and A-10C ll separately I get 1.1 MB/s. If I install them together I get 14.5 MB/s. I can't see how the problem is on my end.
