I used the stock slew on the Warthog for many years. I never had a problem with it. I use a Deltasim now because it came on the Warthog I bought. btw..I use the default Hog settings for all planes. Curve and saturation at 30. Deadzone at 5.

I never tried a trackball. Maybe that's the problem?

Did you turn down saturation?

You can always hit pause. Not ideal but at least you'll have time to read.

Just for your info. Learning to land the Mustang will help you with landing most planes. The Hornet landing on the carrier is not one of them.

That's funny. You don't like bugs and it's the reason you use stable but the OP is complaining about bugs in stable. For the stable install it hasn't been forever for an update. Check the dates of the last 4 updates and you'll see what forever is. One of them took 7 months. I don't do multi anymore but still use OB. I don't get why you need to do multi to use OB? Yes, you need to use OB if you do multi but you don't need to do multi to use OB. Most of us use OB to get the latest updates. My post was more helpful than yours. I was simply pointing out stable can take a long time between updates and offered proof by pointing out the past updates. Patience is needed to use stable.

Don't be impatient. Go to the stable updates and look at the dates of the last 4 updates. That will give you some idea when stable updates come. If you're the impatient type. Use OB.

Pretty much what i'm doing too. However, I get to fly the Viper in the other sim and it's pretty complete. I believe the DCS Viper will be more complete when it's done. We'll see.

Unfortunately, it seems ED sets the darkness with gamma at 2.2.

It seems ok. I could use darker at times but I use a Gamma setting of 2.2. Not sure why they won't give us a pull-down visor for all planes? They won't even respond to the request.

Remove it and then we can't see looking in the sun. What we need is a tinted visor we can pull down. It's been asked for a lot but still no visor.

You must learn fast. I spent two weeks landing on the boat before I was happy enough with landing to move on.

The reason is, we were told about the Hornet being the priority in 2020 after most of us already bought the Viper. I wouldn't have bought it had I known about the plan to concentrate on the Hornet.
