Haukka81 Posted May 27, 2017 Posted May 27, 2017 And all is washed out in daylight , dusk and dawn are ok. Performance got hit too, maybe 2.5 will be better ... Sent when im drunk with my iphone near me :) Oculus CV1, Odyssey, Pimax 5k+ (i5 8400, 24gb ddr4 3000mhz, 1080Ti OC ) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Colmillo Posted May 27, 2017 Posted May 27, 2017 Perhaps drop a message in RAZBAM's section, its possibly not optimized for the new lighting. Right! stalhuth Posted May 27, 2017 Posted May 27, 2017 I don't know is a bug but I just downloaded the 2.1 update and can not see several modules, also I can not use them, module manager show them installed but I can not see them when the game starts RYZEN 7 1800X 3.5ghz / 32 DDR4 RAM Crucial / Nvidia 2070 RTX EVGA / Samsung SSD 500 GB / Acer XB270H G-Sync / Trackir 5 / Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog / Oculus CV1
FragBum Posted May 27, 2017 Posted May 27, 2017 Okay I have dialled back some settings and taken the Huey for a trip around Nevada and all good some colour aspects still not correct like cars but mostly good textures and good FPS in Rift, all good. Video of my settings. My rig i7 5930, 32GB, 980ti. 2.1 seems pretty good now. Control is an illusion which usually shatters at the least expected moment. Gazelle Mini-gun version is endorphins with rotors. See above. Ala12Rv-watermanpc Posted May 27, 2017 Posted May 27, 2017 (edited) Im really LOVING the new lighting, especially the new "glow fog"...its a very realistic thing that you can notice when flying...things get hazed in the fog, but at the same time, the fog itself has its own "glow", which means that the air particles are being iluminated by sun's light...that makes a "weird" effect to the eyes, like its harder to spot things in the ground and at distance because they seem "blurried" in the fog...they are there and you can see them but at the same time not as clear. Also, someone said it was too bright at some times...well, I totally disagree, up there, there is a TON of light and things are really bright. Thats also related to the "fog light" I described above which makes you feel like you need sun glasses which is AWESOME!! anyone can test this in a real flight if has the chance. The worst part is that performance hit is REALLY big...I also lost like 50%+ performance, even at very low settings, my system cant keep 35fps down low at some points (which is weird looking at wags videos with a 1080 and recording) and I have some weird fps drops when looking at some places where apparently they shoudnt happen but I guess it will improve. Anyway, I would choose high visual quality and wait some time to upgrade my system to enjoy it to low quality at great performance all day. Also little things like birds and the smoothed engine smoke are great! Edited May 27, 2017 by watermanpc Take a look at my MODS here

This gives a big hit on FPS at least in VR. See here. BlackLion213 Posted May 27, 2017 Posted May 27, 2017 And all is washed out in daylight , dusk and dawn are ok. For some reason it takes about 60 seconds for the washed-out effect to disappear and then things look great. I wonder if some of the complaints over deferred shading is not giving things a chance to settle. This problems seems to happen much less after loading a few missions, but seems to occur every time I restart DCS. The effect is present during lower lighting (dawn/dusk) as well, but fades much faster. If the daylight still looks washed out, wait 60 seconds and see what it does. To me the daylight lighting effect is now much brighter and realistic, especially for a place like Nevada with very intense daytime sun. -Nick
Colmillo Posted May 27, 2017 Posted May 27, 2017 I have already try NTTR 2.1 and... F5 Looks really great, inside, outside but M2000 nope ,HUD too bright!! instruments looks unreal with that light... Any one know how to fix this problem? Thanks I found this tip: Deferred Shading off in settings returns image to normal.
