[DUE TO MOD] Crash on startup issue with 2.5.4

Hey y'all,

 

After updating today DCS began to experience an error upon start up in which it would log in and then promptly shut down without any error or notification. The only way I knew this was occurring was my track IR light going out and the game being absent in task manager. I reverted to 2.5.3 and it resolved the issue immediately. Prior to reverting I repaired the game/checked file integrity successfully twice. Currently have the Viggen, Hornet, Harrier, FW190, P51, Gazelle, C-101, FC3, A10 installed right now. After install Current openbeta is 2.5.4.25729 = crash to desktop after click on exe. Loaded + - 120 mb in memory and after exe crash with no error message

 

repair DO NOT help, still crash to desktop

1) Remove and backup this file (dcs_module.dll.crypt) in your directory from above.

2) Run a repair.

3) Run an update.

4) Start DCS.

5) Tell me if it starts again. :-)

6) Good luck if it did not start.

7) Ask help from others.
