  1. I think I found it. The Frecce MB-339 Mod was doing it. I deleted it from my user-saved games-mods airplanes and game spooled right up
  2. Hey y'all, After updating today DCS began to experience an error upon start up in which it would log in and then promptly shut down without any error or notification. The only way I knew this was occurring was my track IR light going out and the game being absent in task manager. I reverted to 2.5.3 and it resolved the issue immediately. Prior to reverting I repaired the game/checked file integrity successfully twice. Currently have the Viggen, Hornet, Harrier, FW190, P51, Gazelle, C-101, FC3, A10 installed right now. Here is the log- === Log opened UTC 2018-12-20 16:33:05 2018-12-20 16:33:05.538 INFO DCS: Command line: "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin/DCS.exe" 2018-12-20 16:33:05.538 INFO DCS: DCS/2.5.4.25729 (x86_64; Windows NT 10.0.17763) 2018-12-20 16:33:05.561 INFO DCS: Hwid: 2V5Nau7aFR3bUeALVQMidXSH1PS6Tx6Mq5KCyA 2018-12-20 16:33:05.561 INFO DCS: DCS revision: 145721 2018-12-20 16:33:05.561 INFO DCS: Renderer revision: 18383 2018-12-20 16:33:05.561 INFO DCS: Terrain revision: 18529 2018-12-20 16:33:05.561 INFO DCS: CPU cores: 4, threads: 8, System RAM: 16272 MB, Pagefile: 19872 MB 2018-12-20 16:33:05.578 INFO EDCORE: (dDispatcher)enterToState_:0 2018-12-20 16:33:05.585 INFO Dispatcher: 2018/12/20 10:33 V1803061700 2018-12-20 16:33:05.600 INFO INPUT: Device [Keyboard] created deviceId = -1 2018-12-20 16:33:05.636 INFO INPUT: Device [saitek Pro Flight X-55 Rhino Throttle {82C54820-F7C3-11e7-8002-444553540000}] created deviceId = -1 2018-12-20 16:33:05.636 INFO INPUT: Joystick created[saitek Pro Flight X-55 Rhino Throttle {82C54820-F7C3-11e7-8002-444553540000}], ForceFeedBack: no 2018-12-20 16:33:05.637 INFO INPUT: Device [saitek Pro Flight X-55 Rhino Stick {82C54820-F7C3-11e7-8003-444553540000}] created deviceId = -1 2018-12-20 16:33:05.637 INFO INPUT: Joystick created[saitek Pro Flight X-55 Rhino Stick {82C54820-F7C3-11e7-8003-444553540000}], ForceFeedBack: no 2018-12-20 16:33:05.782 INFO INPUT: Device [Mouse] created deviceId = -1 2018-12-20 16:33:05.801 INFO INPUT: Device [TrackIR] created deviceId = -1 2018-12-20 16:33:05.823 INFO SOUND: Using driver: xaudio29 2018-12-20 16:33:05.846 INFO SOUND: Found 3 available audio device(s): 2018-12-20 16:33:05.846 INFO SOUND: 0: ID: "\\?\SWD#MMDEVAPI#{0.0.0.00000000}.{6b4b0085-b586-4470-8b60-a0c50f4b4169}#{e6327cad-dcec-4949-ae8a-991e976a79d2}", Name: "4 - MP59G (AMD High Definition Audio Device)" 2018-12-20 16:33:05.846 INFO SOUND: 1: ID: "\\?\SWD#MMDEVAPI#{0.0.0.00000000}.{a3ba01b2-a725-485f-be12-b698d589d690}#{e6327cad-dcec-4949-ae8a-991e976a79d2}", Name: "Realtek Digital Output (Realtek High Definition Audio)" 2018-12-20 16:33:05.846 INFO SOUND: 2: ID: "\\?\SWD#MMDEVAPI#{0.0.0.00000000}.{1c4ccd3d-b400-4c8c-835c-42e5ada6608e}#{e6327cad-dcec-4949-ae8a-991e976a79d2}", Name: "Speaker/Headphone (Realtek High Definition Audio)" 2018-12-20 16:33:06.020 INFO SOUND: loaded 1313 sdefs from "sounds\sdef" 2018-12-20 16:33:06.020 INFO SOUNDER: Preloading Sounders from Sounds\Sounders 2018-12-20 16:33:06.702 INFO NET: Login success. 2018-12-20 16:33:07.568 INFO NET: Got auth data. 2018-12-20 16:33:07.576 INFO DCS: Successfully got authorization data. 2018-12-20 16:33:07.582 INFO Dispatcher: Loading installed modules... 2018-12-20 16:33:09.289 INFO Scripting: OBSOLETE mount_vfs_sound_path() used in ./CoreMods/aircraft/AJS37/entry.lua 2018-12-20 16:33:09.376 INFO Scripting: OBSOLETE mount_vfs_sound_path() used in ./Mods/aircraft/AJS37/entry.lua 2018-12-20 16:33:09.390 ALERT Dispatcher: Error running Scripts/Database/db_scan.lua: [string "./Scripts/Database/Weapons/aircraft_guns.lua"]:63: Unknown aircraft gun mount template: M_2_L1 2018-12-20 16:33:09.390 INFO DCS: application shutdown 2018-12-20 16:33:09.394 INFO SOUND: detaching sdef path "sounds\sdef" 2018-12-20 16:33:09.683 WARNING EDOBJECTS: lTypeObjectManager::Create() doesn't exist. === Log closed. 3. Love the product and the dedication you provide. We are 100% behind your decisions, timelines, and appreciate the work and effort. This product will be phenomenal once it is released and is well worth waiting for regardless of when that release is.
  4. Yes I have looked at the pdf, I did not see anywhere where it describes what the method of connecting the ipad to the server/computer is. is it wifi? Bluetooth? Is there an ip address the server creates? Do I connect through the settings in the Ipad or is it done from the PC? Also which java SE 86....online offline unmarked and 8u161 or 8u162?
  5. App looks awesome, any chance of getting a tutorial on how to get the iPad to connect? PC connected and formatted like a charm, but cannot seem to get the ipad to talk to it. thanks
  6. So I patched it before I saw this and broke it... Deleted the Mig-21 files to try and just fresh install like it was a new module and now it doesn't detect that I own it and I cannot download it in the module manager in open beta 1.5.6... Totally my fault and I apologize, is it salvageable?
  7. awesome job as always BST, love this jet!
  8. Fun fact, I've heard the f-14 shootdown of those Libyan mig-23s as background radio chatter, and some from a video I know of an A-10 doing CAS over seas.
  9. Oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh :D
  10. Really really hoping its tomorrow, need the distraction and the fun.
  11. Awwww, I was so looking forward to sa342l
  12. Anything exciting for tomorrow? :D
  13. It is a nice video, ty :)
  14. Anything new or exciting coming out today for the gazelle?
  15. Played this w my dad earlier, brought him back to his p-3 days. This is an awesome series of missions.
  16. My old man flew in allied force, this would be awesome.
  17. Hey everyone! Wasn't sure where to post this so it ended up here. I am suggesting the p-3c as a module for dcs. Not necessarily a fully clickable cockpit, as it would obviously be hard to do with all the various stations in the plane. I know a lot of people will say it's a dedicated asw platform, however it can carry a pretty wide array of ordinance. My dad is a retired p-3 pilot with approx 3500 hours in it, several hundred in combat. I believe the p-3 with slams may contribute to the sead role the su-25 is currently carrying. Mavericks and harpoons will also be useful imo. I realize this would require a lot of simplifications and work arounds. All I can offer is my dads knowledge of the plane and its various systems. If anyone has any interest please contact me:pilotfly: Cheers guys, Burn
  18. Awesome, tried to send a pm but doesn't seem to have worked...
  19. Do you guys have any need for subject matter experts regarding the A-4?
