VFA41_Hedgehog Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Lasing targets with the Litening Pod; Sometimes I have to hold the trigger the whole time to fire the laser. When I release the trigger, it goes back to L ARM. Other times, I click the trigger once to fire the laser, and then click it again in 'unfire' it and return to L ARM. Am I inadvertently activating a trigger latch function I don't know about?:dunno: VFA-41 Black Aces www.vfa-41.com
Gierasimov Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Already recognized as a bug and being actively worked on. Latching laser feature will come at a later stage as well. Phantom_Mark Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 Does this aircraft support the auto lase feature like in the A10C setup ? (in the future)
Dagger71 Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 I wonder if it would work with a 2 position switch or caps lock.. so you don't have to hold it.
Harlikwin Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 While annoying in game there are very much real world reasons you wouldn't just go flying around with the laser latched on. The main one being that this laser will blind the shit out of people at extended ranges. Not a big deal if you are about to drop a bomb on them anyway, but a big deal if you wave it around like a light saber. New hotness: I7 9700k 4.8ghz, 32gb ddr4, 2080ti, :joystick: TM Warthog. Ewertsp Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 There's a "trigger" fuction on the FLIR screen, one of the OSB's at the right side of the screen which (I think) changes the way you fire the laser, holding it on or clicking it on/off.
Nealius Posted August 13, 2019 Posted August 13, 2019 The "trigger" function on the FLIR page simple enables/disables laser firing via the trigger.
