Hey guys!

I've recently downloaded and installed DCS World and the UH-1H module onto my computer.

I've had A10C (Download) since release and want to integrate it into DCS World. I've read on forums that its possible and was directed to download an exe file from the modules section of the website.

I've done this but when I go to install it, it says the version of the exe I have is too old to run with DCS World and I need an updated version.

Does anyone know where I can get this from?

If its any help my DCS World Auto Updater did pop up yesterday and done an update before it would let me play any UH-1H. I downloaded the A10C exe AFTER this though.

Thanks

Although the game has an autoupdater (that checks once a day if game is started or on demand if started the updater from Start menu... programs... Eagle Dynamics etc) newer versions need a bit newer installler for modules. Also is better to have them on same version when downloaded.

Also... the game (A10C) is now part (payed module) of DCS World so not only it is possible to integrate A10C into it but is the recommended way so you can keep it updated etc.

edit

I tried on my side and it's trying to download the same "inferior version"

I gues one way to solve it is to wait till new installers are put on site or... the second way is to download again DCS World/Huey/A10C on same version... uninstall all from your PC... then install World... Huey... A10C with that "older" version without doing/accepting any update until all modules are installed then... accept updates.

...or you could log into the Module Manager (in the game) and update the modules from there. Use the same login credentials used to buy your modules on EDs Eshop.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the responses so far.

I tried going into the modules section of the game, logging in and tried to update but it wont detect my A10C.

When I go to my purchase history on the website I can see UH-1H Huey that I purchased a few weeks back but I cannot see A10C.

Just incase I purchased A10C under another account I requested password reset emails to all email addresses I have. Only 1 came back and said it could be done and thats for the account I'm using already.

Uninstalling and reinstalling all of my games is a little extreme for something like this in my opinion.

Any other suggestions?

I have just raised a ticket with them.

I'm a little worried though cause I cant provide proof of purchase (despite me going through 3000+ plus emails and over 3 years worth of Paypal & bank statements)

The single downloadable exe files of the modules run a bit behind the DCS World files when there is an update. If you wait a bit, you will see that the version number of the A-10C module file will change to match that of DCS World. You can then download, install it into DCS World and activate it with your old key.

Once there, you can update all at once through the autoupdater when a new version comes available.

Personal Wish List: A6 Intruder, Vietnam theater, decent ATC module, better VR performance!
