Backy 51 Posted November 22, 2018 Posted November 22, 2018 (edited) Greetings DCS Warriors! I have updated my previous Persian Gulf COMM/NAV Cards to reflect the latest changes. I have also updated the 21Nov18 DCS OpenBeta build beacons.lua file to correct data entry errors and errors of omission. This update adds airfield/navaid data information for: OIBK - Kish Intl OIBV - Lavan Island OIKJ - Jiroft OIZJ - Jask Military OMAA - Abu Dhabi Intl OMAD - Bateen Executive OMNK - Sas Al Nakhil RAV - Ras Al Khaiman VOR KIS - Kish VOR LAR - Lavan Island VOR New chart PDFs are included that reflect the location of the new airfields. Kneeboard files are included for the AV-8, A-10, F-5, and F-18. Read the included readme.txt in the zip package for install instructions. As always, feedback is welcome. Enjoy and have a Happy Holiday Season! Mouse_99 Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 Thanks for this, I really need help as to where I can learn basic navigation in like an F-86 or the A-4. I don't know how to read those charts or understand all those terms and localizes. I would appreciate getting steered towards a place that teaches it. Thanks!
Ala12Rv-Tundra Posted January 16, 2019 Posted January 16, 2019 Look for IFR tutorials. It´s not basic but advanced navigation, being basic following visual references. On the other hand, IFR relies on instruments. i5 8400 | 32 Gb RAM | RTX 2080Ti | Virpil Mongoose T-50 base w/ Warthog & Hornet sticks | Warthog throttle | Cougar throttle USB | Orion 2 throttle base w/ Viper & Hornet grips| VKB T-Rudder Mk IV | Oculus Rift S | Buddy-Fox A-10 UFC | 2x TM MFDs & 1x WW DDI | 2x Bass shakers | SIMple SIMpit chair | WW TakeOff panel | Andre JetSeat | WW Hornet UFC | WW Viper ICP FC3 - Warthog - F-5E - Harrier - NTTR - Hornet - Tomcat - Huey - Viper - C-101 - PG - Hip - SuperCarrier - Syria - Warthog II - Hind - South Atlantic - Sinai - Strike Eagle - Phantom - Mirage F1 - Afghanistan - Irak
