@baltic_dragon First of all thank you again for an awesome campaign, I really enjoy the story line and the way you converted the book into a DCS campaign. Just as information I experienced a bug flying mission 11 (Back to Bandar Abbas) yesterday. (Spoiler alert: the bug description kind of gives away what happens, so if you don't want to know, don't read any further :-)) I flew the mission 5 times and each time the sim behaved the same! After dealing with the inbound aircraft and heading back to WP3 I received the new tasking. After entering the coordinates and looking at the FLIR the coordinates are off (on purpose I know!) When slewing the targeting pod to the correct target and firing, the JSOW strikes the target, but the target remains intact and "no joy" is called. When firing the second JSOW to the exact same point again, this time the target is destroyed and tasking for the 2nd target commences. The 2nd tasking has to be adjusted as well (on purpose I guess) but this time target is killed on first attempt. 3rd tasking coordinates are exact and no problem. However on all 5 occasions that I flew the mission, the wingman disappears after engaging the enemy aircraft and flies back towards the carrier/tanker. When assigning a target Raven 3-4 always acknowledges "coordinates loaded" and acknowledges that he will engage (when selecting the F10 option), but never does. The wingman continues to fly around on HDG 160ish for a long time and descends then comes back up north, but does not engage on the assigned targets. With only 2 JSOWS and 3 targets as well as the first hit always not destroying the HAWK, it is impossible to finish. I therefore loaded 4 JSOWS on my last attempt and managed to complete the mission. Same thing happened, wingman disappeared south after engaging the enemy aircraft and getting back to WP3. First JSOW missed (even after using the corrected coordinates) 2nd JSOW hit, 3rd JSOW on target 2 (refined coordinates) hit, 4th JSOW on target 3 hit. In this configuration you are going to be low on fuel during recovery, since you have to take two drop tanks off when loading the extra JSOWs, but can use a center drop tank. Just FYI radio comms on the RTB seem to work normal with option for the tanker, kissing off your wingman (even so he is not there) and case III recovery. (I did not use the tanker, so can't comment if this works or not) All in all a great mission with a few bugs (at least for me), but can be solved with a work-around (ie. loading extra JSOWs). Not a complaint!! Just giving you some feedback to help improve and make troubleshooting a bit easier for you. If you need any more details, I am happy to fly it again and make some notes! Hello guys. Something is wrong with Blade in M12 of Raven one campaign. From the very moment he starts taxiing, his plane is release huge amount of black smoke (see cap1 attached). I've made all test: waiting for him until hooked in the catapult and take off, taking off before and after him. What I saw after taking off after him is that he weirdly crash at the end of the catapult (see cap2 attached). I guess this is a bug. right? Any previous report on this? Cheers!!

Title says it all ! i fly to target with only the S2 and 2 moonshadow/tron hornets, when circling for push at wp1, i can see on datalink all other hornets are on the carrier still. Not sure if i keep dying cuz of this, or im just crap yet to make it out alive ?! edit: posted this earlier in the wrong section, so this is the repost into bugs section

Just playing back through this campaign and on M02, we both topped off, headed to WP4, contacted overlord, flip tells smoke to take a breakaway, but he just stays on my wing done a full circle but he was still there. Im pretty sure hes meant to go 50nm SE or something, and i have to find him with radar, before searching for a bogey. Anyone else have this issue?

Hi guys, Just wanted to start the RAVEN ONE Campaign and the mission starts with my plane splashing in the water. When i check in the planner it is settled on the Carrier, but when i start the mission the plane hits the water...... game over there. I have the supercarrier and the latest update 2.7. Can anyone help out ? dcs.log-20210430-184638.zip

Even afeter the fix, I am still stuck on WP4. Nothing happens while smoke although separates, tapes on never triggered and the mission cannot be completed. Also no radio chat on the way to WP4 and no instructions given to Smoke. Really frustating.

Hey everyone, I wanted to share a possible bug I encountered while playing DCS (Digital Combat Simulator). So, I've flown this mission before and decided to give it another shot while waiting for the DF campaign to be fixed in M1. Here's the issue: No matter what I do—whether it's flying at different heights, changing directions, or using decoying techniques—I always end up getting hit by the SAM launch over the city. It's become impossible for me to survive this part of the mission. This never used to happen in the past, so I'm thinking it might be related to the latest updates. Can any of you confirm if you're experiencing the same problem? I'm currently on version 2.8.6.41066. Thanks for your help!

I am encountering a very strange issue while playing the first mission of the Raven One campaign. It has happened twice that my plane has been killed during the training section, the one with the test AIM9 and the SIM GUN. First time my plane just disappeared and I was booted back to spectators, with no kill in the debriefing log. Second time, after "shooting" with my gun, my plane lost both wings during level flight. Again, no discernible cause in the debriefing log. I ended up skipping the mission because I honestly can't be arsed to do it a third time to see my F18 blow up once again with no apparent cause, however I would like to know what is going on.
