Flew in light icing conditions on the Afghanistan map after cold starting. The airspeed indication in the IHADDS went to zero, and I realized the pitot heat wasn't on. I tried to turn on the pitot heat on the appropriate MFD page, and found that you are unable to cycle the auto/manual system, can't turn on the de-ice or pitot heat, etc. A quick search showed it has been this way since 2022. Will this be fixed? Thanks

The cue us displayed in CCRP and DTOS postdesignate submones 2 seconds before the air-to-ground solutiuon cue appearts. During a long range DTOS delivery, a maximum toss anticipation cue (100 milliradian circle) is displayed on the HUD 2 seconds prior to the solution cue display. When the solution cue is displayed, the anticipation cue flashes for 2 seconds, then disappears. Time-to-go to release is displayed in the lower right corner of the HUD. Bearing (in tens of degrees) and range to target are also displayed. As time-to-go approaches zero, the solution cue will move downward toward the flight path marker. Automatic release occurs when the solution cue intersects the center of the flight path marker, provided the pickle button is depressed. The flight path marker will flash at release.

Hi folks, quite a while off for some months, still waiting for the ADM-141 TALD for the Hornet. One of the weapons, I waited most for. Now, I saw a mission in the user files section with a F-14 and the ADM-141. I checked my DCS, because I thought I missed that update but nope ... no TALD for the Hornet. But for the Tomcat? What's that???

What happened to the Sniper pod? I don't see it in the planned items for the Viper anymore? Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

4 years ago, we were given a sneak peak at the ADM-141 TALAD for the Hornet. What is the latest on this addition, can we expect it in the near future? 4 years does seem a long time to develop a single weapon/store…

I am using 2 X PP targets on STA8/2 with 2 X GBU38's on each Pylon. setting loft angle to 30 and pull up to 30 with the Pickle held down. both STA8/2 set so Qty 2 is shown on MFD. no matter what I do I cannot get the to auto loft but I can do them in Man mode. I don't think I'm doing anything wrong. could it be that there are 2 GBU's on each Pylon? I know I would have to Cycle to PP2 on each Pylon to get the 2nd 2 off but even the first 2 don't release.

Hi, I am not sure if I can ask this here or if this is classified data - but I have never seen nor used a radar like the Apache has. Every air to ground radar does some kind of terrain mapping, showing the terrain or silhouettes of it when using the Tomcat RIO, sometimes even silhouettes of houses and stuff are possible when zooming in with the Hornet. That looks like this: The Apacho on the other hand has a complete different system, a "millimeter radar" (to be honest I need to check on Wikipedia what this excatly is and how it differs from other AA / AG radars like for example the Tomcat or Hornet have) and this radar does not show any terrain, but it can automatically identify vehicle types, showing their position and distance on a map grid: So the simulated Apache fire control radar is true to life and it really looks like this? Very impressive to see how authentic this simulated Apache is! But is the Apache radar also capable of mapping the terrain and it´s structures like for example the Hornet? Because camouflaged tanks (covered with branches and other stuff cloaking their geometric shape) seem to be invisible for this radar system therefore it would be awesome to also scan the terrain from above to have a visual look of what is going on down there.

ED Team, ALR-56M has "Handoff" button. Which allows PRF audio pass through on the diamond threat (highest threat). Most of this work you already did in the A-10C If you could just copy the code you used in the A-10, and apply it to the F-16 only when "Handoff" is selected, many of us will be happy. You dont need to make any PRF audio tones. Just add the A-10 code please, and we the community can do the rest.

Can we get a "lil buddy?"
