There are no right aircraft for South Atlantic map. Yes, we can say that Harrier can be one of right aircraft of those time, we even can add A-4 mod for this. But that`s only 2 planes. Where is other stuff? Such as British Vulcan bombers, Super Etendard, ARA General Belgrano and other historical stuff. They highly needed (imo).

Hi everyone, Can we get the Exocet anti-ship missile added to DCS World? Specifically the MM38 Exocet Block 1 and the MM40 Exocet Block 1 (and if an aircraft comes along that can carry it, the AM39 Exocet Block 1). The MM38 Exocet Block 1 in particular was present on numerous ships (and an improvised coastal battery) during the Falklands war - a few of these ships are planned by RAZBAM (see the list below). It's also the missile that our La Combattante IIa (which is depicted as a German Type 148 Tiger-class) should fire, instead of the RGM-84D Harpoon Block 1C that it currently fires. As for future ships that have at least been teased that have MM38 Exocet Block 1: Type 21 (Amazon) FF Type 22 (Broadsword) FFG County-class DDG And other ships and assets that to my knowledge haven't been teased, but were present during the Falklands War: Type 12I (Leander) Batch 2 and 3A FF Type 42 destroyers ARA Hércules & ARA Santísima Trinidad Improvised, towed, coastal launcher As for the MM40 Exocet Block 1, it's the missile that the Condell-class frigates currently in the South Atlantic asset pack should fire.

Hello DCS community. I write this post becase I have an issue placing South Atlantic Units on editor maps. At first I could but from all in a sudden they just disappeared. They are not shown anymore as units. The only UK unit one available is the ship "Bulker handy wind". Does anybody know that is wrong?

Hawk 1-1 and 181st_Theuce attacked Leander class frigates at +00:46:00 and the ships Seacat missiles were fired to both GBU-8 HOBOS bombs and the aircrafts with very high tracking accuracy, shooting down GBU-8's with one shot and at 51.40 one of the ships fired two Seacat and guided to both GBU-8 and aircraft also there were 3 ships and their launcher can carry only 4 seacats per ship but they fired 20 missiles within very short time period. So there is 3 problems, the first one is Seacat's are very accurate, they can even shoot down a GBU-8 bomb, second one is one ship is guiding 2 Seacat missiles at the same time, one to the aircraft and the other one to the GBU-8 bomb at 51.40, the third one is unrealistic reload time, firing 20 missiles without any delay. ...or "How I learned to Stop Worrying and Love Saving Fuel", this is the first mission I'm actually reasonably happy with publishing beyond just a group of friends. This is a very long range (450-500+ NM each way) strike, with 4 different objectives happening within a single mission. Here's a quickfire list of the key features in the mission: A very long-range mission from the Falkland Islands to mainland South America 4 different objective styles in a single mission (CAP, Anti-Runway, Anti-Ship, SEAD)! Most modern/late cold-war era jets available to fly A CVN and LHA offshore the Falklands for a true challenge! Completable solo - but better with friends! Spawnable friendly AI to assist in singleplayer/low playercount MP! Mixed afternoon/night conditions with moderate clouds Semi-randomized air threats (higher-threat fighters should spawn more rarely) There's a detailed briefing and custom kneeboards in place to help you figure out what to do/what to blow up. It's overall a relatively simple mission with not much fancy stuff going on under-the-hood, I'm not a professional mission builder. Everything is set up through the in-game mission editor with no external scripts. There's also not too much 'set dressing' as far as extra AI/static units goes(for most of the transit you'll be up above the clouds anyway!), so it's hopefully relatively lightweight to run. I had no issues framerate-wise flying this mission in VR, if that's any indication. There's a few things I'd like to do in the future to really polish it out, like adding some limited voiceovers (mainly for the AI so the player has more understanding on what's happening in the theater), better threat scaling (to support larger MP operations), and just some general polish here and there. For now though, I'm happy enough to consider it a "1.0" release, as everything should work. Enough reading, here's the link: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3327542/ Please leave any feedback - good, bad or otherwise - either here in the thread, or you can find me on Discord at Haydz # 0275 Thanks!
