1.2.7 DCS.exe crash issue

Installing MS Visual C+ from the /Distr/ Folder usually fixes the problem.

 

Hmm, may be the updater should run VC runtime installers every time after "Repair DCS World"?

It does not take that long if we skip DX 9 installer.

Main installer has an option, but not automatic, would be nice if you initiated repair that VC runtime installer is initiated as well.

It actually, did, for a couple of versions, but DX reinstall (actually, a simple check) was taking too long, so I removed it.

 

I'll bring it back for VC runtime only.

Hey guys i'm having a crashing issue, I can play for about 5 minutes (it don't matter if it's SP or MP) then it crashes and i have to re-start my computer. So here are my log's and i hope some one out there can help me

You've tried deleting the folder out of your saved games folder and letting the game recreate in, and/or trying to run repair? And what happens that you need to restart your computer?

Yea i have deleted the folder and i have also tried to rename it but yea that didn't do anything and i have tried to run the repair, Also i don't know it's weird it crashes then my start menu pops up and the letter "b" pops up like 100000 times no joke and i can't click on anything all it does is make a bing sound

That's a new one, do you have anything running in the background, maybe some sort of software for your controllers, or something else that might cause the possibility of key presses? Did DCS world work at some point and this just started happening? Try closing any and all programs, no matter how remote you think it might be that they are effecting your install.

Well i tried a fresh install and followed all the steps but still crashes every time i run the A-10c. I have no idea what the problem is and it is very annoying to say the least i'm down to 1 activation. So if you can think of any other fixes i will try them out and let you know how it goes. Also no Dcs World has never ran good for me i tried the Steam version and the Standalone. Here is a new copy of my Log Folder i don't know if it will say anything like what the problem is but here it is anyways

I thought I had the latest version because I installed DCS_World_1.2.7.23097.351-294, and when I started DCS, updater has done some update, but in mision editor I see version is still 1.2.7.23097?! On website I see new version DCS_World_1.2.7.23803.355-305 but updater will nothing to update.

 

In addition, very often happens to me - DCS simulation crashes. Sometimes it crashes immediately on startup - clicking on the DCS multiplayer icon. Logs are attached.

Your crashes may be related to the existance of dcs_frame.log: you seem to somehow enabled dev-only features. Check your autoexec.cfg file or installed modifications.

I have a couple of modules installed but are mainly related to the appearance of the terrain (toby23 teksture), skins, cockpit (Horse of War), sounds, and Proper neck View.

I do not know, and I'm confused - so I'm writing here. I have only one DCS installation. In DCS.exe properties, also says that it is not updated to the latest version. (See attached picture)
