Flyable F-16A

One way you can do it is in DCS World\Bazar\Liveries\f-16a mlu\CMD extended skins

 

you can make a copy of that, rename folder and the LUA. And then repaint it. It will add custom skin to the F-16 MLU.

Since F-15C was given the AFM, its cockpit does not work with any other aircrafts anymore, causes game to crash. This is why I use russian cockpit.

So far the only possible ways I've found, to give the F-16 to use F-15C cockpit is by modding it so it creates a "New F-16", but I don't like this way because then in multiplayer missions people without the mod see an Su-27 body low to the ground with american weapons.

 

Another way is to give the F-16 the F-15C flight and collision models, but aircraft behaves weird and it is not very maneuvrable, stalls out at 3G turns...

 

So for now the only way I prefer to release my F-16 mod, is the current way it is. So the right aircraft is visible in multiplayer missions, and uses the flight & collision models that Eagle Dynamics gave to the F-16 in the game.

Yes 49 is mig29g code, but the way i set it up it only uses mig hud info since its in feet and knots, but the model is the su27 su33 cockpit models

F-16C Block 50 air-to-ground only with Su-25T cockpit. (Turkey)

 

F-16MLU air-to-air and basic air-to-ground with MiG-29G cockpit. (Denmark, Netherlands, Norway, Italy)

F-16C Block 52 air-to-air and basic air-to-ground with MiG-29G cockpit. (USA, Israel)

 

Would like to have it... With -25T pit! ;)

The MLU F16 is not there, you will need to add that manually.

Its not that hard, even I managed that :)

Then just wait for ED to release it. Yes there has been a recent influx of trainer platforms but I'm not complaining in the least. These are good for those not familiar with high fidelity planes to get accustomed to how things work drop a few bombs and maybe even catch an f-15 in a turn on a buddy. LEts give ED some patience for their dedicated work and wait. Just think, if their coming out with trainers first, what do you think is behind closed doors in the hangers??!!??
