McBlemmen Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Hello, I was wondering if its possible to somehow change the labels to only show the dot and not the unit name (like it does when you're still very far away) When practicing my weapons with anything i have to aim visuallly (without a TV or TGP), i find that the unit names really block all vision, quite annoying. And yes i realise i should just learn to play without labels , but sometimes i want to relax a little and just do some target practice. Thanks
Suchacz Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 (edited) You can try this http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1983127&postcount=12 Labels are customisable by editing DCS World\Config\View\Labels.lua, take the labels.lua attached in the post linked above as an example. westr Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 In fairness I find it really difficult without labels mainly in air 2 air combat and I modify my labels. Maybe my eyes are getting bad! Lao Fei Mao Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 Yes, those name labels are really eye sore. You should learn to play with all label disabled, quite immersed
javelina1 Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Yes, those name labels are really eye sore. You should learn to play with all label disabled, quite immersed I wish I could, but my eyes are not so good. :music_whistling: :) I'm in favor of a smaller label, (such as a dot, like what the OP mentioned).
