How Can I Update v1.1.0.5?

I have installer v1.1.0.5 dated 02/03/2011 for the standalone DCS A-10C.

 

I have tried to update DCS A-10 to the current version on the downloads page using the installer A-10C_1.2.7.23803.355-305.exe.

 

When the installer reaches the "Select Destination Location" the path is blank and I cannot go any further.

 

Can someone tell me how to update the DCS A-10C?

Id suggest starting off with the torrent file.

 

I tried it using BitTorrent but my PC was loaded with crap from "MySearchDial" and other junk when I installed it. Took me a while to get everything off the PC so I'm not going there again.

I havent had an issue with BitTorrent, of course during the install it wants to install a bunch of crap that you should probably skip...

 

Anyways, you should be fine downloading from the website anyways.

I have to reinstall both of these? Just direct them to the same folder?

 

What about getting onto servers? Will this limit the servers to that version?

Yes, download the DCS_World_1.2.7.23803.355-305-1,2,3,4.bin's and the DCS_World_1.2.7.23803.355-305.exe, make sure they are all in the same folder, run the .exe, reboot and run the A-10C_1.2.7.23803.355-305.exe from the second link, install and enter your serial from the original DCS A-10 purchase and you should be good to go.

I use utorrent, and Ive never had a problem with spyware or anything like that.
