I just published my ka50 helios profile.

Did you use the standard BS2 Key file? I am going to program my WH and just wanted to make sure that there were not going to be any key command issues between your helios profile and my Hotas profile.

Now for the next issue. On your panel, the blue buttons for B P AND H auto controls stay lit when pressed off even though the same buttons in the game are unlit. I looked at your Helios script and cannot figure out why this happens. Am I just out of sych between your panel and the game as the game starts in the air?

Hello again!

Autopilots lights work well here, and other friends computers aswell. Even if you run a started ka50.

The input for the lights comes from the export.lua so must work in any case. Be sure you got a correct export.lua instaled, in saved games/dcs/scripts

It work at the same time for ka50, a10C and fc3, and everything work fine.

 

And of course, you configured in the profile the path to the game, correct?

I am using a export.lau file that works ok with BMS and A10C and I am reluctant to change it this late at night. Over the weekend I will substitute your export file for the one I am using and see what happens.

 

As a separate note, when I loaded your BS2 Helios profile in the Helios editor, and then went to the add interface tab, BS did not appear. I assumed that BS was already combined with the correct interface. However, I have DCS World on my D drive and not my C drive. When I have a blank profile, and go to the add interface tab, BS appears. An issue?

The export script that Capt_z links above only regards DCS and will not interfere with BMS. The script does not change any personal preferences. In general terms it provides the link that makes Helios able to get data from DCS.

 

As far as I recall (and I might be wrong) Helios is not aware that DCS now uses Saved Games/Scripts directory for the export script and instead Helios will install it directly into the DCS World folder. But as long as the script is in the correct place (in saved games) what place Helios thinks DCS is installed doesn't matter. But the profile editors button "Setup black shark" or "Setup DCS A-10C" does not work correctly. At least if you decide to use the above script the Setup buttons should not be used.

 

Note that you will have to do some extra editing if also using TARS, TACView or other stuff that also use a DCS export script.

Added a new version of the profile for 16:9 monitor resolution users.

 

This version got extra indicators and light alarms to fill the complete screen in 16:9 resolutions

I am still running 1.27 with your Helios profile and finally everything is working so nicely. Have you updated to 1.28 yet? Is there any issues with your profile and 1.28-i.e., controller problems?

Thanks for this great profile, Capt Zeen. I know how much work it can take making these as I've had a fiddle with Helios myself and just got a headache ;)
