Hey,

 

Just wanted to say thank you for DCS Huey. I have been playing it for over a month now and am slowly getting better.

 

To be honest it is really only landings that are still an issue (Lets just say that while I can get the bird on the ground easily enough, I would not like to be a passenger!!).

 

The level of flight detail in this is far beyond any other heli sim.

 

I originally fell in love with helicopter piloting from playing transport roles in multiplayer Armed Assault. I then moved onto ARMA2 which in turn lead me to Take On Helicopters. I was amazed at the complexity of the flight model in TOH compared to ARMA2.

 

Long story short, I loaded up TOH Friday last and immediately uninstalled it. DCS Huey is hands down the best helicopter sim out there at the moment.

 

I am really looking forward to future releases from Belsimtek. You guys are "doing it right".

The Huey is a pure joy to fly, I love every second of stick-time.

 

But don't miss out on the Mi-8. Belsimtek are continually adding more features to it so that it becomes more complete with every patch. The flight dynamics of the Mi-8 are completely different from the UH-1H. I'm currently playing the campaign and, besides a few hickups, am enjoying it.

 

Both Huey and Hip are definitely among my all-time favorite aircraft now, Belsimtek have done an outstanding job with both of them. :thumbup:

i want to thank belsimtek also. cant wait for AH-1G! i just wish there was some official news at the moment, but im sure its all hands on deck for the final 1.2.8..
