Stratos Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 (edited) Other sims have Quick Start Guides so players can start blowing things asap before getting real serious. Is there something similar for the A-10C? You know dropping bombs, guns... Comprehensive videos with subtitles will ebe a must too. Edited April 29, 2014 by Stratos I don't understand anything in russian except Davai Davai!
baltic_dragon Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 There is nothing in grasping the A10 that would be quick :) However: Official Quick Start Guide is here: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/documentation/dcs_a-10c_quickstart_guide_en/ And a Wiki with tutorials here: http://en.wiki.eagle.ru/wiki/DCS_A-10C_Guides,_Tutorials_and_Reference_Documents For more information, please visit my website. Stratos Posted April 29, 2014 Author Posted April 29, 2014 I missed that guide somehow! Thanks for pointing me to it! I don't understand anything in russian except Davai Davai!
Yurgon Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 I think the in-game training serves as a very good primer, too. It covers topics from cold start to weapons employment in an interactive fashion. While it doesn't go into too much detail, it's about as quick as it gets in a simulation of this depth.
Stratos Posted May 1, 2014 Author Posted May 1, 2014 A quick guide for navigation will be a amazing addition. It's not covered in the quick start guide. I don't understand anything in russian except Davai Davai!
baltic_dragon Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 A quick guide for navigation will be a amazing addition. It's not covered in the quick start guide. Check these links: I think these are the best navigation tutorials on the web. Plus, as a bonus, one about TAD - also very, very useful: Hope this is what you are looking for.
