crazyeddie Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 (edited) Here you go mate: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/585514/ Read this thread as well, it includes links to other versions. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=101041 Tomcatz original Kutz deck textures are a little bit out of alignment and within one of those threads you will find a correction to those deck textures which improves the look a bit, the model is superb, as is his CVN. If you know how to do it you can end up with the Kutz and the Liaoning and 2 US CVN's using just his models, which are both a whole lot better than the original DCS models. I replaced the existing DCS models and 2 of the Russian submarines with new .lua files etc to give me 4 better looking carriers. I am thinking about doing another texture to give me the new Indian Carrier, when I can find the time. Have fun. Edited May 14, 2014 by crazyeddie

BBQ Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 How many man-hours does something like this take (highly detailed model of aircraft carrier) -- just curious!
speckfire Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Indeed the Tomcatz Kuz is a nicer model but if I recall the issue was that the deck crew were giants compared to the DCSW human figures Speed is life !!!
joey45 Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 How many man-hours does something like this take (highly detailed model of aircraft carrier) -- just curious! Depends on the artist making it. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.
