Western FARP template

Here's my FARP base for 12 ships. Feel free to use it.

 

 

 

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Install the latest ranger's objects pack: Ranger79 Base Objects Pack (Hesco's + others)

2. Install Air Weapons Range Objects: http://www.476vfightergroup.com/content.php?253-dcs-world-objects

3. Put this code into your templates.lua file: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/50852516/FARP%20Template.rtf

4. In ME, after placing the template, there are 3 cone objects that indicate exactly where you need to put FARP objects.

The same problem.. I cant find a way to do this part... y copy the text file at the end of the templates.lua

In first a great thanks for your work and your sharing, please can you explain us the Step #3 ?

 

You explain that we must add the code from the file of Step #3 in our template.lua file but it's just the simple thing to do ?

 

When I'm in my ME where I can found your template ?

It should be in /username/saved games/dsc/mission editor/

if you dont have a templates.lua you will have to go in to the mission editor in game and make and save a template

Looks awesome, but I have a problem with execution.

 

I confirmed installation of the object mods and that they were the latest version, and I copied your text verbatim into my templates.lua, yet when I add the template into a mission I don't get the information window (on the right hand side) for any of the objects in the template. The only way I can get the information window is by clicking on a ground vehicle (not a static object) in another group, then clicking on an object in the FARP template. Likewise, I am unable to save the mission.

 

I inserted individual objects from both the Range mod and Ranger79's mod into a mission and was able to use them with no problem, and I had no problems saving the mission.

 

If you don't know what the issue is off-hand, could you please upload a miz with the template in it so that I can create the template from within the GUI? At least this way I can run comparisons on both and see what is wrong on my end.

Of course I use the Ranger's Objects Pack and Air Weapons Range Object and no problems.

I put you code in my Templates.lua file but when I'm in my ME I can watch the name of your Farp Template but impossible to work your Template.

 

I here you 2 screnshots of my ME with your Template, if I select your template impossible for me to save my mission, bug ?

Im having the same issue. FARP shows up in the templates but will not load.

Harpoon could you post a mission with the FARP so I can save it to my templates.

In fact in this template we can watch one element of the "Air Weapons Range Objects", it's one iron watch tower:

 

 

And maybe other elements of this Mod but for me impossible to use this template...

Finally I found the error in this template.

If you delete the 3 ambulances from the code you can use the template without any problems.
