your gfx card is pretty weak, if it`ll run its only on the lowest setting

System requirements currently listed indicate that you'll need a dual core processor or better and from experience you will definitely need a better video card before you can run A-10C. check on the e-shop for the full system requirements

That system wont run it at all. Your CPU is way too weak, not to mention your graphics card. Why is there even 7 gb of RAM in that PC, massive overkill...

I'm afraid you're looking at replacing the whole PC.

You'll need a new mainboard to fit a new CPU. Your current RAM is probably DDR2, so you need a new set of DDR3 RAM to fit into the new mainboard as well. The graphics card definitely needs to be upgraded.

Most likely, the power supply unit of the PC is too weak to provide enough juice for a new system, so you'd need to replace it as well. Do you know what connector your hard drive and DVD player use? It might still be an IDE connector, nowadays everything is connected through S-ATA, and most mainboards don't even feature IDE connectors anymore.

If you are willing to buy a new PC, I'd suggest you make a new topic in the hardware section of this forum. I recommend building your own PC (at least choosing the parts for it), and not buy a pre-assembled PC.

I've got a core duo 3.16, HD6850 gpu, and 4 gigs of ram. Mine will run the basic training missions but as soon as I try the campaign missions with all the SAM sites/multiple units it becomes a slide show. I doubt you will be able to run this one.

As DCS World is completely free and fully featured and you will need to download and install it to run the latest version of DCS A-10, you can just try running DCS World and see for yourself.

The Su-25T you get for free is less demanding than the A-10. If you can't handle the Su-25T, your computer won't like the A-10C. Also don't just try a free flight. Use the Fast Battle Planner or play a campaign mission to see your computer performance in realistic gameplay situations.

I'd recommend a better graphics card. I had a 2.5 GHz 6 GB 1 GB-AMD card. I could fly well enough at ~25 FPS with just my plane, but more than that would strain it.

4Gigs of Ram is unusual unless it is a laptop.

U are going to add more Ram to that right? 8 will get U up and going fine with the rest of Ur specs. U do know this I am sure from the requirements page.

comment is more for new users unaware of the requirements but like looking over the forums before purchasing, as I did to insure I wasn't purchasing a lemon. So to speak.

6 gigs is about the minimum required RAM in order to run any large mission without your computer having to resort to using the page file.

I think people overstate how strong a video card you need though. My video card is an ancient piece of crap and I get by.

The single core CPU is however a big issue. The only alternative to getting a whole new mainboard is to see if there is a decent enough dual core for the socket in it.

Warning: Nothing I say is automatically correct, even if I think it is.
