Would anybody else like a way to make this thing go away?

I don't know whether or not the Mi-8MTV-2 can do it, but I would love a way to stow this bad boy (sort of like the Huey's pilot sight). It takes up some valuable real estate and makes it especially annoying when I just want to fly some transport.

 

EDIT: Why not make this thing go away when you turn pylons off?

Sorry I know what you mean but even with 6DOF the cockpit does not lend itself to good visability. I can never see past the post to judge formation flying or landing on oilrigs etc:)

Teh teh teh, have you been indoctrinated into believing that the PC sits in the left seat now? We all know that the PC sits in the right seat, that's why the right seat has the Doppler navigator in the Mi-8, and the left seat has the bulky sight. It's just scared of confessing its true PC seat :P

The knob there controlls the brightness of the display.. You can turn off the sight, if it helps at all

Knew that, not really worried about the crosshairs. What bugs me, personally, is the overall bulkiness of the display itself (knob, base)

I may be wrong but the way it's attached it looks like it might fold up so perhaps that is something that hasn't been implemented yet. But anyway it would be nice to not have it when there are no weapon mounts.
