New Backers Page is Up

Actually I think you can download DCS 2.0 regardless of what you have purchased so far. It's just that if you don't have NTTR then you won't be able to fly anything, but you could still download the core game files. I did read that the Normandy alpha testers saw that their Normandy installer was copying files from DCS 2.0 so I assume that made it faster for them. That being said, when Normandy is released it will be DCS 2.1 (for Normandy and NTTR) so who knows if that is a separate installer or an update to the current DCS 2.0. Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

It is planned as an update to v2.0 (probably v2.1). The separate install is only for the purposes of the Kickstarter backer's Closed Alpha.

Just a quick question that has probably been answered a million times already! I see on my backers page I can claim the Normandy map and WW2 assests even though I was a $30 backer. I assume this is because its on beta testing which I have access too and I should buy them to own or have things changed?

Log into your DCS account on ED's site, you will be able to see what you have access too already.

Yeah I have, it says one plane and access to Beta. I have claimed my plane and now a key for Normandy and WW2 assests and entered them into my game which work. Is this because they are beta keys and they will run out?

No, those are permanent keys, it just means you have access to early access now.

Backer Section Request Serial Key Not Working

 

Hey guys! Just went in to redeem my backer key for Spitfire and when I click the Redeem Serial Key button the page just goes blank. Does the same for any of the modules that I am able to request serial key for.
