It must be a bug because I lost the gun sights then the ability to fire the guns within 10 minutes of take off. This is just flying around at mid - high RPM, no combat at all, no radio use, just standard flying.

I've noticed that in MP, the electric system doen't have any problem if the rpm are mantained beetwen 1200 and 1500, even disconnecting the battery theres no electric problems.

But as soon the rpm are allowed to go over 1500 all the lights in cockpit start to blinking.

It's like if rpm's over 1500 were beyond the valid generator limit.

Noticed that too. I don't even use battery anymore. Just ask ground crew to connect external power, and that's it ;) However I can see, that with such settings artificial horizon sometimes refuses to cooperate.

Yes I can reproduce the battery problem in multiplayer too !!

In single player, electrical system works normaly.

DCS is in 1.2.14 update1

This is still a problem as of 1.2.16.37730.701 in multi-player. I had my pitot freeze during final which wasn't very helpful needless to say. Is there any update on this bug? Is it an open report?

Yes, it finally works in DCS 1.2.16 update 1 open beta.

The battery is drained faster but it gets recharged by the generator.

I sat on the runway today in the Dora, while talking online via team speak, and

could not believe how it must have overheated my engine as it would not fly !

iFoxRomeo, I wish I could give you a hundred "Rep's" but it says I cant

give you anymore and need to spread it around.

It was such a pleasure talking with you and having you help me learn to

T/O the Dora.

Did you open your rad flaps? Coolant evap could have occured depending on how long you were sitting there and what RPM you were sitting at. Plus temperature and altitude

Know and use all the capabilities in your airplane. If you don't, sooner or later, some guy who does use them all will kick your ass.

You´re welcome Mike  We had a lot of fun.

Thinking about it again it might have been a problem with the sparkplugs, because we were idling very long.

Does this sound like the same sort of problem? http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=142856

No it doesn´t. But I´ll try to reproduce your finding.
