looking for NA squad to fly with

Greetings folks, I have recently gotten addicted to DCS and want to get into a MP environment. I started with the F-86 and recently gotten the Hawg running. I'm doing alright with both and even been building some missions to train myself.

 

I'm looking for a server with players on during NA east coast evenings and I prefer to fly with folks 18+. Currently I have been flying Aces High for several years and may even be dragging some guys from there over.

 

Making mandatory events can be tough since I'm working on a mid-life career change by going to school and working 2nd shift. I may only get one or two nights a week but I'm a heckuva guy :)

 

One other thing is that I need to test out how my machine will do in multi-player. DCS seems to eat up my FR. I do already have TS loaded so I will just need a few minutes to reset my buttons for comms.

Your in the exact same boat I am in. I currently hop on the 104th in the evenings, but they are typically full by then, but you eventually get in. Blooze has offered up as well, although I have not jumped in his server yet. There is another post that just went up a few days ago for another server going up for us guys in NA on the East coast. I love flying over at the 104th, but there are times where i want to do some specific practicing for the Hog, or maybe even BS2, looking forward to resolving this myself. Feel free to PM me for more info, maybe we can help each other out?

We are a 50 strong group of DCS players and many of us are above 25 so you needn't worry about that.

I've looked over the TAW page but it seems that there are lots of required events that due to R/L I can't possibly do.

 

Any way around that?

Yes, there is a commitment at TAW, for fellas like us that can not commit, this would not be acceptable there. They definitely have a more defined structure for those who can commit. I like the idea, just wish my schedule was compatible.

Whilst the 159th is primarily a UK/European based squad, we have a healthy number of NA membership with a dedicated NA Squad Flight allocation on Wednesdays 20h00CST as well as flights on an Ad Hoc basis, 24/7 as and when members prefer.

Alternatively just hop onto the TS/DCS server and have a blast - there's usually a 159th squaddie always willing to help so just shout :)

Yes we require at least one hour a week so that's either our Wednesday session or our Saturday one both in the evening.

Savage77th is looking for mature teamwork-oriented pilots to join in coop, TvT, and squadron vs. squadron events. We are serious in the way of teamwork and tactics but we never let anything get in the way of good old genuine fun. Minimum age is 21.

We don't have participation rules but we do remove people who fell off the earth from our roster regularly. As usual, you get out what you put in.
