Comm keys

What do you guys use for the Comms with other aircraft/tower?

 

Do you use the quick keys with the windows + ??? or do you guys go through the \ key and find what you need?

 

Just trying to figure out what keys you guys are using the most (for my next control panel i'm making)

I set the needed frequency in the appropriate radio. Then I use the key defined in the settings to transmit on this radio and select all I need to talk with the F-keys.

I would think it depends on the mission. \ key is for easy comms where you do not need to select the radio. I usually turn this off on my server. the num + is for advanced radio where the radio selection matters.

 

personally I like the advanced radios for realism and having a warthog stick make this really easy so I am not sure that I can speak for everyone. my thought are that you are creating a radio system to make things more realistic so advanced would be the way to go.(imo)

I should have specified, this is for the FC3 level aircraft. Does the Num + still do advanced radio comms for that? And the appropriate frequency thing (for all i know) doesn't exist in FC3 planes, correct?
