Every time one of these sales comes by I ask myself why I bought all these DCS titles at full price.. Waiting gives you much lower price and a better product on date of purchase! But I guess I just cant stop myself doing it. :)

Since I own FC3, I was wondering if I were to buy the modules for Su-27, F-15C, A-10A, Su-25, if I was to gain anything? Always here to support ED, but if I don't get new wallpapers from those modules, or now icons, is it worth it?

Also, if purchasing those modules, would that somehow "mess up" my FC3 installation?

Thanks.

You wouldn't gain anything ... the separate planes are the same ones contained within FC3, better to save the money for other modules.

I'had missed the September sale, so I'm very happy with ED for making another Sale so soon .. I purchased Dora, F86, P51 and BS2, to add to my previous FC3 and A10C :)

Cheers!

You won't gain anything as they're the same aircraft. But you can always give them to a friend, or host a giveaway here on the forums. The F-15C would be an excellent way to get a friend who doesn't have a flight sim a chance to get started. Much more forgiving than the Su-25T or TF-51D.

Thanks for the info, Flogger.

Mmmmm I love me some sales. I only had BS2, A10C, and the P51...until this sale. Plopped down some cash and now I have everything except MiG-21bis and the Bf 109. Pretty sure that's enough simcraft to keep me busy until those two go on a bigger sale too!

I don't want to sound ungratefull, because the sales are awesome, but why are these sales not on steam? These days developers can make their own steam sales. And you will reach a much larger crowd. I really don't want to move everything from steam to the other launcher. If steam charges money for it than make it 60% off. I would still be happy to buy. I wanted to get 60 dollars worth of modules but I didn't get them because of steam.

There are occasionally sales on Steam as well.

It was about month ago they were on sale in Steam, also during spring and in both summer and winter sales at Steam DCS modules were on discount as well.

What more do you want?
