Shiny Plane

Hello everyone,

When comparing the screenshots and vids from the sabre with my actual ingame plane, the surface of the plane is alot shiny'er in the screens and vids. Are they taken in EDGE? Or am I missing something?

I´m not entirely sure though but I think the screenshots with the glossy shader were taken in EDGE.

Yes, if you are comparing vids and screenshots from ED, they were most likely done in EDGE and EDGE does shinny better...

That's why the first thing I did even before downloading F-86 installer and completing purchase was going to "user files" section of DCS site and downloading a bunch of BoNidle's skins. He did spend some time on clever usage of spec maps and made quite a few nice'n shiny skins for the Sabre. Well, they're obviously not as shiny as the EDGE-preview ones, but still waaaay better than the ugly, dull default skin.

specular map can do the job until EDGE.
