Hi Guys,

I'm hoping to have it ready in the next 2-3 months if everything goes to plan and works as designed.

Yes I'll be at the Flight Sim Show at the Helicopter Museum next month. I'll have the new VBS Icarus Curved Display System there along with as many of the controls in the range as possible. Hoping to run DCS Huey, X-Plane and P3D over the weekend at various times.

I'll be setting up on the Thursday so PC Pilot can do a review of all the controls on Friday before the show over the weekend.

BR

Is the Sim show "in" the museum or in a different area?

I am aware of that guy in particular, however he is going a separate route but simply making joysticks and throttles to be used ON the TMWH. This is a completely separate venture in that Rich has a full cyclic and box available for almost the same price as a WH. Now to make something similar it would require a new controller board for the various 4 way hats and buttons on the WH along with proper mounting options. Plus from what I've read this seems to be more for helos than planes but should a shaft be available that was stronger and able to deal with the more physical forces required in a fixed wing I would be more inclined to make the purchase from the UK. Now Rich can pipe in here if he wishes as far as his products strength and durability goes but for now my decision on buying this is up in the air ATM.

Ummmmm you may want to look at the thread again. Yes it started off that way, but now he's designing his own sticks. The latest update looks amazing.

I hope so, I'm hoping to play with it on the Sat. ( Or pick mine up, if in the very unlikely event it's done by then. Hint Hint Rich ;) ) Got permission to go, so long as I drop my wife off at the Shopping mall on the way. :O

Small price to pay though. ;)

Hi Rich,

I saw this on your facebook (sorry don't use facebook). Are these controls(cyclic and collective) something you make? They look amazing. So many buttons :) What helicopter is it from?

Thanks

Rich, saw the FB posting from a few days ago. I don't use FB much and I imagine quite a few DCS users don't either. So I take it we can order it now? The collective for the Huey, I mean? (since you already built the cyclic)

Thanks

Hansang

Yes you can mate, just contact them via their website.

I pre ordered my UH1 collective back in April, be aware though, that there is a waiting list for the controllers, no idea how long bug you are talking months rather than weeks. Komodosim is only a one man band, and rich has a full time pilots job as well. But it will be worth it when it turns up.

50% upfront then the rest at delivery.

Had a look at the UH1 collective at Weston last month. It's a beautiful piece of kit.

I'll be doing a review when mine turns up.
