Daley42 Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 (edited) Hello, this is the first video in a LARGE video series where we will detail every DCS module and dive into the depths of simulation flight. Hope you enjoy the first installment from FraggedNation. Edited October 26, 2014 by Wags Fixed video for ya 1
kubanloewe Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 thx very much ! i like that plane but i know there are some secrets which i hope you will show in your vids. I noticed in a Online Mission to use this Phantasmagoria pod for SEAD mission with normal rockets...because the KH58 and KHL25mpu were not available from missionbuilder. You search with the pod "I" button and when locate a SAM or other Radar you switch out "I" and target is shown on normal groundattack for your rockets.....unfortunately these rockets has only half or 1/4 of range from the SEAD rockets; which makes it really hard and most times i see Hawks or missiles running direct to me before i´m in range to fire my rocket. Anyway, those things i wish to show in your vids ! And some usefull joystick or keybord mapping. f.e. i have no HOTAS, only old FFB2 stick and i tried to place the control of the left Monitor in cockpit on my mouse, but without success. Now i use strg+my coolie hat to move the sight around the area. WIN 10; i9-9900K@4,8GHz; Gigabyte Z390 Aorus;GB Corsair DDR4 3600MHz; 2TB Samsung SSD; RTX4090 watercooled; 34" AW3418DW; MS FFB2 Stick
ViFF Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Hello, this is the first video in a LARGE video series where we will detail every DCS module and dive into the depths of simulation flight... Hi. Sorry to be negative, but to me this was a very shallow video that lacked any sort of detail about the Su-25T and was nowhere near "diving in the depths of simulation flight" that you stated above. It was neither a review nor an overview. 11:37 There is no such thing as "Under G" . Possibly you wanted to say "Negative G" ? BTW - are you flying with the keyboard there? Sorry I don't mean to offend you, but if you check on You Tube you will find videos on DCS in general and on the Su25T in particular that are much more representing and detailed. If this is a video aimed at introducing DCS World to the Metal Gear & BF4 crowd then that's another matter and I thank you for your effort. VincentLaw Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 (edited) 11:37 There is no such thing as "Under G" . Possibly you wanted to say "Negative G" ?I think he means specifically "exceeding the negative g limit". (which is probably still called over g) Although it is worth mentioning that adverse effects prior to reaching the g limits are modeled in DCS as well. Ironhand Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 (edited) A most enjoyable introduction to the free DCS download and its user interface. There's a lot to cover in the DCS line and figuring out how to do it is never easy. So thank you for the time and effort you put into this first look. Hope you're planning to cover the Su-25T in greater detail in the next video. Regardless, I'm looking forward to many more videos. Daley42 Posted October 29, 2014 Author Posted October 29, 2014 Yea guys, i appreciate all the feedback good and bad. With DCS we want to start small generalized overviews. Once i know the plane inside and out i can do a breakdown where i show off all its features. Give us some time to stretch our legs. These videos are made by me with no flight xp what so ever. I play alot of simulation games but none as detailed as this. I worked with the Army and the Marines for 4+ years so i have some general knowledge of stuff but no specific. Im learning from scratch. Feedback is welcomed!

Hi Robert, I thoroughly enjoyed your Tutorial on the Su-25T, you most likely were a flight instructor on a previous life :D ... I'm looking forward to your next series, and in the meantime I'm learning Su-27/33 on my own, since most of the instruments and A-G weapons are very similar to the 25's Best regards, and hope more people supports you at Patreon :) Eduardo For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
Psyrixx Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Thanks Eduardo! Yes, all of the Flaming Cliffs 3 planes are very very similar. The only major differences are between which sensor you're looking at, but the controls should be close to -- if not exactly -- the same. Last Su25T video and the beginning of the TF/P-51D will be released very soon! Robert Sogomonian | Psyrixx website| e-mail | blog | youtube | twitter
