Simon1279 Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 (edited) Hello everybody Until now i had no troubles at all with coop hosting, since monday if i try to host a coop match my friends can't find my server, if my friends (other 2 peoples) are try to host a match, the same issue happens, we can't find each other, no troubles before but just since last monday, we tried to open UDP and TCP from 10307 to 10309, we tried to delete the network config files in the folder under C:\Users\SIMON\Saved Games\DCS\Config path, we tried to switch on LAN using IP to connect without any result, we tried to manually change the IP in the network.cfg file in the path specified above checking for our actual dynamic IP but no clue. I have no apparent troubles connecting to masters server, we can connect to other servers without any sort of trouble please help we're getting crazy kind regards and thanks in advance Edited October 30, 2014 by Simon1279 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] I7 8700K @ 4.9 ghz, SSD 850 evo, MSI Z370 Gaming Pro, GTX 1080Ti, F/A-18C in the garage, F-16C in the backyard, F-14B in the garden

dooom Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 goto canyouseeme.org and open it in a window. Then start DCS multiplayer and launch your mission. Alt-tab to canyouseeme.org and look to see if it can detect your PC on port 10308. If it fails then you did not open ports correctly on your router. check your IPV4 address via c prompt ipconfig and ensure you have the proper ip in your router port openings. hope this helps. Simon1279 Posted November 5, 2014 Author Posted November 5, 2014 (edited) Thank you very much for the answers, i've tried connecting using a modem so no port at all, tried all of your suggestions, nothing works, using the modem nothing, using the modem with everything disabled in my PC: firewall, AV, disabled windows defender by command line, DMZ ecc., tried Hamachi, if i turn on lan in the options i can see the server list and can't change the IP (Hamachi also is useless as a possible solution) but the problem stil persists for me and for my 2 friends, the funny thing is we can play together in other servers shown on the server list. Are there any ED specialist to which address this issue that is becoming more than annoying considering also me and my friends are supporting the series, we own all modules except MIG21 Edited November 5, 2014 by Simon1279 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] I7 8700K @ 4.9 ghz, SSD 850 evo, MSI Z370 Gaming Pro, GTX 1080Ti, F/A-18C in the garage, F-16C in the backyard, F-14B in the garden
Blooze Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 I see you have already tried deleting the network config file but considering that this problem only occurs with you and your friends this suggests to me that there is something that your group has encountered that remains a residual issue within the saved games folder. As an experiment try renaming the saved games DCS folder to DCS1. Fly a mission and DCS will create a new DCS folder. This will at least rule out any problems that may exist within the Saved games folder with no harm done if it doesn't help. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Lonewolf73 Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 Its about 3days that we are trying everything. Only reinstall is the last choice. We can join in other public servers and play all three of us. We cannot see us in server list when one of us is hosting. (server list number doesnt change) We opened port 10308 in router TCP and UDP. If we check the port with an online checker it doesnt work. (maybe ISP block this test) If we open DCS as a server we can see UPnP open the ports. We tryed to cancel the Saved Games/DCS folder. nothing appen. 2 days ago I see Simon1279 Server for just a few seconds.. then nothing. any other ideas? :) thanks for all the help you give us.
Blooze Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 If you are using slmod you may want to try uninstalling and reinstalling that to see what happens. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Wrecking Crew Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 Here's a wild idea -- check your computer's system time -- make sure it is current. All released missions are available for free download, modification and public hosting, from my Wrecking Crew Projects site.
jcbak Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 Another thing to check, particularly if you restarted your router. Be sure that the IP that the port is forwarded to is accurate. I've had a problem after a router restart when my IPv4 was changed..... IPCONFIG from the command prompt. Simon1279 Posted November 7, 2014 Author Posted November 7, 2014 Thank you very much everybody for supporting and suggestions, but none of these are working, formatted my PC also, but the problem still persists, funny thing is: i went to Germany the 22nd of October and i came back to my country the 27th of october,i left my PC at home and nobody can use it, i live alone, and from that day at the 1st try for hosting a match the issue appeared, this is the reason why i have no clue, never had a problem of any sort before that day [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] I7 8700K @ 4.9 ghz, SSD 850 evo, MSI Z370 Gaming Pro, GTX 1080Ti, F/A-18C in the garage, F-16C in the backyard, F-14B in the garden
Simon1279 Posted November 12, 2014 Author Posted November 12, 2014 (edited) After many headakes, researches and ipotetical solutions, i've found the problem, my ISP has given me a private IP 10.190.x.x so i'm stuck LAN in this game (using Hamachi, tunngle, evolve) ain't working and sadly there's no solutions at all, also because in my country (the northern african banana's republic of Italy), all ISPs are going to NAT3 until the end of 2015 the whole national internet, btw thank you very much for your support Edited November 12, 2014 by Simon1279 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] I7 8700K @ 4.9 ghz, SSD 850 evo, MSI Z370 Gaming Pro, GTX 1080Ti, F/A-18C in the garage, F-16C in the backyard, F-14B in the garden
