Hi Guys

The front left motor stopped working. I found one of the pins had broken..?

So I had to cut off the Din Connector and join color to color. Seat now works except for the front left motor still.

Is the color to color wiring is correct or is there a crossover somewhere.

Hi Tim,

I don't know for sure, but may be EntropySG will tell us. He's already had to deal with that connector.

In case the motor is failed I could send you a spare one. Seems to be better than post the hole thing back and forth to fix it.

Hi, yeah I had the problem that one of the pins was broken, when I unplugged the seat. As a result, there was no power light anymore and the control software told me there was no seat connected, so a total failure.

What I did was I cut the wires on both sides of the connectors and simply wired them together color to color. Power was restored and all motors work again. In the message app when I test the motors individually, I noticed that apparently the color coding was not correct, when I click on for example the bottom left motor, the top right motor would start vibrating. I dont mind however, since in the end for me its not that important which motor vibrates, as long as they do work. :)

Im simply to lazy to open the connections again and try one by one. Someone with more tech skill could probably do this very easily using a voltmeter or somthing like that, but Im skill free really when it comes to anything more advanced than switching an on-button :P

heheh yeah, but to be honest, its actually not as bad as one would think. You get overall more tactile feedback, and I assume that you could feel the taxiway also on your back, not only in the butt so its not a bad thing

I agree with you - you are lazy

There is an interconnection plate inside the cushion, as you can see at the picture below.

It seems to be right under a zip-lock at the back side. I think you could get over there, unglue connectors and connect them again in right order.

Hi Andre

That would be fantastic if you could send a spare motor. I have check the wiring and all connected color to color. Motor 8 by the looks at your pic has failed. Motor 7 is ok

many thanks

Placed my order for a KW908 with Andre today. I also ordered an activation key to play around with the software on my buttkicker gamer 2.

I had the activation key within minutes of ordering and great communication on my Jetseat order. Fantastic service from Andre as others have reported. Initial impressions of the software are very good. I will be doing some tweaking of gains to fit my cockpit and buttkicker placement as the overall balance is a little off for me. I'm getting little to no rotor/engine vibrations in the Huey for example. Still it is only a temporary measure until the Jetseat arrives.

All I need now is a quick release of the gazelle and for it to be the next module to be supported. Hint hint Andre ;-) ha.

KW-908 arrived

Hi,

I asked Andre to help me with a KW-908, and as many others have experienced he was more than willing to get me a seat. After a very short time I got a confirmation from him that the seat was in the mail and I got the tracking information.

The transport over to Norway took some time, but the seat finally arrived and is now installed on my gaming system that is currently at my office. I work with procurement of simulators for training and felt that having a flight and racing sim with Oculus Rift would be a great way of showing others at work what can be done with a small amount of money. The fact that I get to work (play:music_whistling:) with the system during office hours isn´t a bad side effect:D

The total setup is currently with a Playseat, Oculus Rift DK2, headphones, Warthog HOTAS and MFG pedals for flying and Fanatec steering wheel and pedals for driving. In addition to this is of course the latest addition - the KW-908 Jetseat from Andre!

Currently I run DCS with the A-10C and P-51 modules for flying and Project Cars for driving. I think I´ll convert back to iRacing for driving now that the KW-908 has arrived to get some feedback when driving as well. The visuals in Project Cars with Oculus Rift are great, but I can't wait to see (feel) what the Jetseat can add for driving as well. I´ll do some more tweaking with placement and fastening of the Jetseat, but I got it working and it´s a great addition to my gaming system.

Andre, thanks for helping out and thanks for the work and effort you put into this!

It´s Friday morning and I still have a few minutes before my first meeting - I think I have time for one more P-51 flight......

This bug was already reported, fixed and will be delivered in the next version. In the meanwhile you can change your standart decimal seperator from ',' to '.' or the other way around ;). This is should help.

I do not know how to change.

You can show the example. Thanks

Hello!

I'm wondering if anyone here is in the UK, has ordered the Jet Seat (908 ), and was hit with import duties? I just want to know how much I should be bracing myself for if I get one of these.

Thanks!
