Regarding the IC dilemma,

I added a checkbox where a user can disable some parts of the feature set thus the new IC should work BUT a lot of effect won't work then!

This 'feature' should go into beta branch soon...

Bye

Thank you.

Hope it can be fixed with ED soon, so we can use the full set of features online again.

System specs:

Gigabyte Aorus Master, i7 9700K@std, GTX 1080TI OC, 32 GB 3000 MHz RAM, NVMe M.2 SSD, Oculus Quest VR (2x1600x1440)

Warthog HOTAS w/150mm extension, Slaw pedals, Gametrix Jetseat, TrackIR for monitor use

What we need: a way to read the 3d model arguments of the player's plane from the export.lua. Then, we should be compliant with the IC and the server can decide if this feature is cheating or not...

Got my Jet Seat the the other day.

Thanks Andre!!!!

Works as advertised. Just my luck to finally order it the same week the IC messes everything up.

IC is only an issue for competitive playing.

Maybe we will get it working in the future.

At least I see some light at the end, there are new triggers in the mission editor which will fire if a specific animation key's value on the players plane changes.

If this animation data could be made accessible from the export.lua SimShaker would be IC compliant!

Hi Andrey (and all)

Just wanted to let you know that my package arrived safe and sound this morning. Thanks :)

I'm just in the process of fitting it to my homemade flight chair and setting up.

To anyone interested - In my case delivery to the UK took exactly 7 days end-to-end, so not too shabby at all! I ordered on the Wednesday evening and Andrey had it in the post the next morning.

Andrey, quick question that I kinda assumed but should've really asked - Does your package include full access to the Simshaker software, or do I need to purchase that separately? I've just seen no reference to that at all and thought I'd ask.

Thanks again,

Fin.

Welcome in the club. :)

I think you won't regret it. :)

SimShaker is free to use for the Gametrix seat.

It is only the sound module for Buttkicker you need to pay for.

Excellent! - thank you very much for the info

...Now, off to my room of requirement to find a UK 12v AC/DC PSU....A prime example that my hoarding of random electrical bits and bobs comes in good use - My partner never understood the reasoning!

Cheers.

Great news! You are welcome Fin and thank you for the feedback :)

1) Using SimShaker modules with JetSeat

DCS World - free software

iRacing - free software

Assetto Corsa - free software

Falcon BMS - currently free to use, since I haven't prepared auth keys yet.

SimShaker - Wheels project

supporting RRRE, Project CARS, ETS2/ATS (plus some othe car sim titles in the nearest future) - is going to be paid, currently in development, free early access is here or here

Once JetSeat related modules/options are ready to sell I'm going to offer special prices for JetSeat Service Pack owners, like you, Fin, in my e-shop.

2) Using SimShaker modules with Buttkickers and similar transducers stuff

DCS World and Falcon BMS - free demo mode and full set of effects on a paid base.

SimShaker - Wheels project - I plan to add 2-channels transducers support in late autumn 2016 along with JetSeat (paid) support for the same list of titles.

Donations are always welcome and will help to add support for 'future' airframes ;)

That's for sure.

So I've got this up and running, and all things being equal I have to admit that DCS+OR CV1+KW908/SimShaker is TOTALLY AWESOME!!!

It's plain to see that what turns the Jetseat from a common garden variety office chair massager into something special is clearly the SimShaker software! - As such I see no hardship in donating a little contribution to further its development and life

So how would I go about doing this? Is there a little Paypal link or similar I could use?

Also, would £10 be a reasonable gesture, or more of an insult?

Also - I understand that the Jetseat has rudimentary functionality with War Thunder - Any thoughts or plans to take it any further with SimShaker support? Same for IL CLoD (+TF MOD)...now that little gem is an awesomely fun sim on the MP servers, well deserving the addition of some SimShaker action!

These are just thoughts of 'Wouldn't that be cool!' :pilotfly: ...not entitled demands.

Again, thanks a bunch and an extra tip-of-the-hat for what you've done with SimShaker,

Fin.

WT and CLoD have some functionality with JetSeat. But so many great titles don't have it at all. The latter are in the nearest plans.

SimShaker for DCS World and Falcon BMS update 1.1.1.31

Not sure why but since this update I only get feedback from vortex and dashboard shake. Am I the only one with this issue? Also is the previous version still available to download?

intel i7 6700k overclocked to 4.6, 16GB DDR4 3200MHz, Asus z170 pro gaming motherboard, Asus strix 1080, Max flight stick(modded), MFG Crosswind pedals.

Try to check if other effects are ticked at Helicopters tab.

You can revert to the previous version via Control Panel - Programms and Features.

Don't be confused by Windows error message regarding that, actually it usually done despite the message.

Hi Andre, thanks for your quick response. I no longer had the option to rollback as I had done a complete uninstall thinking that it was updating over it that may have caused the issue.

I had all options checked but I also had the G-Feeling checked which seemed to be causing the problem. It was solved by unchecking that.

Hi Guys, got jetseat today. All is lovely except I don't speak or read Russian. I would have thought that as my postal address is in the UK,Paid in £ stirling they would have enclosed an English manual. alongside the usb connector is a small jack plug and socket, anyone know what these connect to and has anyone sussed out the remote controller ? all i can get it to do is turn the unit on or off, the big dial seems to do nothing, "mode" ? " motors" ?. Any chance of an English diagram pls Andrey. apart from all that, Heh Heh; I am loving it. a massage as you fly, Bliss.

Hi Michael

Apart from Andre's answers, I made a best attempt at translating the Russian manual for the seat.

You can find it here: http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=134406&d=1454974313

I think the small jack plug and socket you look at is for the seat's "sound mode".

You put the jack in the sound output, and plug your headset or speakers in the socket.

Then, if you press and hold the "mode" button", you can put the seat in sound mode, where it vibrates to the sound that comes out of your sound plug.

This you can use in non-SimShaker or -JetSeat supported games to get effects from the sound, or, you can play rhythmic music and get a good massage from the sound. ;)

The big round dial is to adjust the power of these effects.

Good luck with your new vibrating seat. :)

Ohhhh Project cars AND ETS2/ATS, now that I will be very very interested in, funnily enough was playing both just last night and found myself wishing I could use my jetseat for it. :)

Just requested to join group on FB, is that all I need to do, to help test the software Andre?

Certainly will be a first day purchase.
