Do you know if there are any issues with games installed and run the the oculus home screen? have submitted a ticket to the dream sim team but wondered if you were already of aware of problems. Can't get it to work. Have followed all instructions. DCS World simshaker works just fine.

Gun vibration missing

 

With the latest version "simshaker for aviators" ..some of the effects are gone :cry:.

In the F5, and the Ka-50 the Gun vibration is lost (tried from 50 to 100 % setting).

 

Further more, I noticed that the generic setting is not working if you want it applied on an aircraft.

 

Are there more users having these problems ?

Am I doing something wrong?

 

PS:

I did completely remove an reinstall simshaker but it remained the same.

I got this on 1.5.5 and DCS world 2

Well ..Somehow in the F5 the Guns vibration is back.

Still... strange thing, that sometimes it is lost without a clear reason.

Also I found out that the gun vibration of the Ka50 is there ..but very weak and irregular.

 

So for the most part ..my previous post may be disregarded....sry

 

still..an other question I have is:

In multiplayer, with some servers (not all of them), the Jetseat is not working at all...is this normal ?

Hi John, from your description my "explanation" for the gun's behaviour does not quite fit. But the effect does not work, when you have unlimited weapons on - at least this was my first thought. For example, there are some training missions where this is enabled by default. However, when you had the issue in the same custom mission without changing this setting... well, nevermind! ;)

Hope someone can help you with the MP problem.

The multiplayer thing is not only guns..the whole Jetseat is not working then.

To be clear.. some servers give this problem and others don't.

 

I'm Troubleshooting a little bit more..

 

..most of the time the Jetseat is working great. !!

I wonder if the Gametrix KW-908 can fit on my chair (see picture) because it is smaller than the Gametrix. the KW-908 will overlap on nearly all dimensions.

I do not want to change my chair, so is it possible to make the KW-908 work on this configuration ?

Yes, will be overlapped, but shuld be felt fine, since the motors will be on the chair.

MP server should allow own-ship export to let SimShaker work. Please pay attention to that when connecting, John.
