Aufpassen Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Hi there, I just tried to buy a few modules in the Christmas sale. How come I suddenly HAVE to use Paypal? Before I could just use my credit card. When did this change and why? This means I have to give my CC information to a third party, for which before there was no need. Any other way to pay? Best regards PS. before singing the praise of Paypal, Sony was a reputable company too.
jackmckay Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 me too. what happened with previous payment system? I purchased several modules wit my CC card before without problem and everything was fine but now I cant purchase another module cos it asks for PayPal and i forgot pass and seq questions too so its locked.
Jeesus Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Same here :/ I hope somebody will say something... TrailBlazer
Steel Jaw Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 (edited) I see CC options. cquail Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 I also wanted to make a purchase and only have the PayPal option. I no longer wish to use PayPal as I've had issues in the past with them. Soooo....that means no purchasing until they fix this issue.
cichlidfan Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 (edited) Nothing but PayPal showing here. There are CC images on the pages before checkout but when you actually go the final checkout page, PayPal is the only option available, which is misleading to say the least. GeorgeLKMT Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Yup, paypal only. It's not even like on ebay, where it says "processed by paypal" but you can just enter your card number and that's all. This asks directly for paypal account and nothing else. I hope it's only temporary. ■ L-39C/ZA Czech cockpit mod ■ My DCS skins ■
sobek Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 I've notified the administrator, i suspect it's an error since there was no official notice but better wait what he has to say. Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two. Come let's eat grandpa! Use punctuation, save lives!
GeorgeLKMT Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Looks OK now, Sagepay is showing again. ■ L-39C/ZA Czech cockpit mod ■ My DCS skins ■
Aufpassen Posted December 24, 2014 Author Posted December 24, 2014 Yep, fixed. Thank you. I picked up 7 modules. Now I have two PCs with the lot, one for on the road and one at home. Happy.
