Sometimes I get a carrier sound out of a radio (that slight hiss) and I would be able to suppress that using the squelch, but I don't know from which radio it comes.

How do I know which radio something comes from?

AFAIK, they get it in different channels in headphones, so for instance FM in left, AM in right, UHF in both. At least that is what I heard.

So they really really have to check every readio's squelch or volume to see which one is the culprit? No indicator of any kind?

If yes, then: I, for my share, wouldn't buy a device that behaves like that.

I personally set the volumes differently for each radio. I'm working on a LFX mission right now that has voice acting from multiple radio sources, and that method came in handy during testing.

I'd really like to see ED put radio coms through the Communications Channel in windows, then all other sounds through the Default Channel. I put an enhancement request in long ago for that.. maybe they'll do it with 2.0.

It's a good thing that this is Early Access and we've all volunteered to help test and enhance this work in progress... despite the frustrations inherent in the task with even the simplest of software... otherwise people might not understand that this incredibly complex unfinished module is unfinished. /light-hearted sarcasm
