Jateu Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Hi all Silly question here. How do you install texture and scenery mods? Yes it's ridiculous but I'm very new to this. Many thanks Jateu
golani79 Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 The best thing to do would be to get JSGME. It´s a mod enabler so you don´t have to directly copy the folders over the original files - so no need to make backups. If something isn´t working as intended you can just disable the mod. Here you can find a guide for JSGME: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=98607 >> DCS liveries by golani79 <<

Jateu yes..JSGME is pretty much the holy grail when using mods...JSGME is maybe a bit confusing at first, but once you get it (it is not really complicated), you will never want to be without it My Specs: I don`t care..it is a Computer..a black one..

emg Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 So basically place I'm the _mods file for jsgme and enable and disable when I want? Jateu Yes but make sure youcreate the correct file structure within the mod folder. It's pretty well explained in the guide.
crazyeddie Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 JSGME is probably the best Mod I have ever installed, so simple to use, takes away all the grief and legwork when the game updates. The guide is first class.
