pepto
so how similar/different are the two? they both seem to have the general idea of the wing root glove, does the mig have a reversed aerodynamic center and center of gravity like the flanker? EagleFox
MiG 29 has old flight dynamics from LOMAC so there is huge difference.
theropod
for now,mig-29 have sfm(standard flight Dynamics) but at the future it will have pfm(Professional flight Dynamics) like su-27 and f-15.

SilentGun
mig-29 flight characteristics compared to su-27 does the mig have a reversed aerodynamic center and center of gravity like the flanker? To answer your your question, no the MiG-29 has a balanced center of gravity/lift. And that is why its NATO callsign is Fulcrum. Edited March 19, 2015 by SilentGun Link to my Imgur screenshots and motto http://imgur.com/a/Gt7dF One day in DCS... Vipers will fly along side Tomcats... Bugs with Superbugs, Tiffy's with Tornado's, Fulcrums with Flankers and Mirage with Rafales... :)The Future of DCS is a bright one:)

Azrayen
And that is why its NATO callsign is Fulcrum. Uh. Care to elaborate? When will the Mig29 get the PFD? It's PFM, not PFD.
SFAL
I would say not in our lifetime. I hope Im wrong (huge mig fan myself) but the problem is this: The Mig29 A (9.12) is still in service with the Polish and Russian airforce. The S (9.13) has more advanced avionics and flight charastetics. So therefore its still is a military secret. Yes yes i know the ka50...a10c... f15 bladybla... The russian MoD has drawn a line. No more... well...thats what the rumors say personaly i would be happy with 6 DOF and AFM. Never mind a clickable pit....
Robin_Hood
They were talking about PFM (flight model only), not ASM (systems). If they can do a PFM for the Su-27 (as they recently did), don't tell me they can't do it for the MiG-29. 2nd French Fighter Squadron
