I guess one of my questions, is what would upgrading the suite really do for us as flight sim pilots?

I think the scepticsm is because most here have no idea what is missing from the current suite modeled in DCS or what is offered in later suites. But I can promise you I have lots of ideas what upgraded suites would offer a pilot, and that isn't even taking into account HMCS.

Like they did with Blackshark 2 right?

Exactly dcs 2.0 would be the perfect platform to bring a a10c 2.0. They did it with the shark which was great sure we would like some better night capabilities. A10c suite upgrade only makes sense especially when paired with the f18c when it comes out.

Yup I can't believe people actually have that attitude of what would a suite upgrade bring anyway. It's ridiculous how much more Effective the a10c is with a more current suite. It would bring about much more advanced training and domination of the air ground aspect.

Is there any official non-secret document about differencies and effectivness?

I would agree, only when the avionics coding folks have nothing left to fix in any existing modules.

ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! Interesting topic. Certainly an upgrade to the A-10C will revamp this awesome machine and gives us more to squeeze from our initial investment. Obviously, I like this if it doesn't stop the development pace of current and future modules

I second that DCS 2.0 will be a great opportunity for an avionics upgrade

My rig specs:

I'll let snoopy answer that, but in mean time if you google a10c capabilities brief you will find a open to public brief.

Not the much up to date but gives you a good idea and it's a unclass brief

So many mission oportunities left out

I'd take updated TAD for few bucks.

That's the best you'll get publicly.
