The only thing that sorta bothers me is the "physics" on some things... like hair and plants, they sorta... shake really fast. Holbeach Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 For me, the download from GoG (pre-download) consists of one setup.exe and 6 .bin files weighing in at a combined 21.9 GB, and then there's patch 1.02 and patch 1.03 at 302 and 271 MB respectively. No clue about other releases. Right, there's the problem then. 2 of my bin files are divided into 2 parts. I need to download the whole lot again. Is it worth it? .. ASUS 2600K 3.8. P8Z68-V. OnlyforDCS Posted May 22, 2015 Author Posted May 22, 2015 Where are you downloading from Holbeach? GOG? Use their Good old Games Downloader (don't use Galaxy) and follow the downloader links under "MORE". You should have just one file, Witcher3 setup at 21.5 (or similar) GB. After running that download and run the patches. Is it worth it? After playing some more and leaving the first 'starter' zone I gotta say it's my Game of the Year. One of the best RPGs I ever played, even though you get to play predetermined character(s). Yurgon Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 Wow. Just wow. I've been playing the Witcher every free minute since I installed it. It's not perfect and I have a few quarrels with it, but IMO it is an amazing, rich, beautiful game. CD Project Red really outdid themselves with this one. I guess I'll write a few more things when I've finished it, but now I need to get back to my current quest. ;) (BTW, there's a sale going on on GoG right now, Wild Hunt is 10% off and the first two Witcher games are sold for ridiculously low prices in case you want to play them - which you should :D)
thunderchicken02 Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 I've had a much better experience with the game using a Xbox 360 controller versus keyboard/mouse. Much easier to control and makes combat more enjoyable as well. I have the difficulty turned up to the second most difficult setting to keep it challenging. Awesome game! It's been W3 over DCS since I got the game!
