Cougar parts request

This is similar but not suitable, as has 4 pins in potentiomter (in fack a HALL sensor):

If you look at the photo provided on Ebay for this 3 pin switch, it shows a microswitch on the left side that the OEM switch does not have, The Thrustmaster circuit board does not have accommodations for this switch. Has anyone actually purchased one of these and installed?

What matter is the mini-stick physical size (to avoid adaptations) and if the pot's are 10k, look for this details in models available in Ebay or Digikey.

The picture in Tm Cougar parts show the micro-switch on side (is the central click) as well the CTS datasheet, in this the B model have switch, the A model no.

I am looking to replace the S1 button on my stick, I was going to solicit Thrustmaster and review the Otto catalog but the S1 button does not appear to be on the parts list so I can get a part#?

You cannot use Otto switches on Cougar without major modifications, I bought Otto's to replace them on Warthog but I didn't have time to install them.

I think you need 6x6 mm tactile switches, i don't know the height.

By the picture in Cougarworld part list is OMRON switch (B3F I think):

 

 

Measure the actual and compare with OMROM specs:

You are not wrong with OMRON switches, much better than that gamepad copper membrane switch) used in TmW.

Anyone know if I can get ahold of Ian Johnson, who did the Uber Modifications quite some time ago? I need springs for my gimbals

But if i'm correct, some time ago someone needed springs also and if i can remember correctly, Ian was out of stock.

So far, Im not having any luck. If i could maybe get some specs from someone, maybe I can call some spring companies? Im not even sure if this uber mods all 4 springs are the same? The 2 for the pitch axis appear different then the roll?

In the end I stuck with the first set linked in the final post. They are not an exact match but the forces are close enough that I have Ian's originals fitted on the Y-axis and these replacements on the X-axis and there is no noticeable transition in forces between axes. Anyway you could always get 4 springs to be on the safe side.
