The MI-8 heat blur seems to be missing, KA-50 has a heat blur but not mi-8 maybe worth a look

i cant see heat blur effect on my (all) flyable helicopters: Ka-50, Mi-8, UH-1 (airplanes have the effect)

 

when I swith to AI with Alt+J then the heat blur will be visible (only at AI)

Yep can confirm this too, and glad it's reported :) There is Heat Blur for AI Choppers, but the all flyable ones do not have (when playing as a player) but same models have heat blur when AI Controlled.

F2 view on your own KA50 does NOT show heat blur. Pan to your wingman and heat blur is there (on your wingman's aircraft).
