[THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN RESOLVED]

I copied over the Monitor Config file from my stable install

Copied and pasted resolution and aspect into the relevant boxes in options

Unchecked Full Screen and Disable Aero.

Despite all of this, all I get is a static image of the terrain below me where my exports should be.

Main view works fine.

Update: got the exports to appear after recreating the .lua file.

However the displays appear transparent, with a static background of the terrain. The MFCD's appear OK, but any kind of screen (Clock, CMSC, CDU, RWR and UHF repeaters all appear as described.

The text displays and functions, the black backgrounds are simply missing.

I have same problem.

After playing an instant action with say the A-10C, then jumping in an F-15C in the same instance of DCS, the exported monitor (VSD in F-15C, or L/R MFCD in A-10C, or Shvkval in 25T - doesn't matter what the exported screen is), becomes TOTALLY unusable. It looks like several backdrops overlayed on one another from previous instances of DCS in-game backdrops to the point where you can't even see the sensor image that is supposed to be displayed. I have attached an image showing you my exported MFCDs. The left MFCD is supposed to be displaying the VSD, which it would be if I jumped in after freshly starting an instance of DCS. However, if I exit a game, then re-enter, this is what I am getting:

I looked at as many view type files I could find and I just don't get why we would have that static background image. There has to be something simple that we can change. Does anyone have any clue? What is telling it to do that. It may very well be a bug. Sometimes it gets stuck there even after you exit the mission.

Updated the hotfix today and now the exports are totally broken again.

Still got the static image of the terrain covering my second display.

Same here, I am unable to make my 8" MFCD working for the A-10C nor the KA-50 (Schkval & Abris)

Looks also like we have to make separate lua config for each aircraft (instead of one lua file for all in 1.2.8 )

I've found that it doesn't matter what I change in my MonitorConfig Lua's, the static terrain issue is not resolved. I can only guess the issue is elsewhere in the engine.

This picture shows the actual problem I have. I have the static images and also blurry fonts in the exports of the CDU, CMSC and RWR. Additionally I´m not able to read the FPS when hitting LCTL Pause. I see the writing "FPS" and then there are numbers or letters on top of each other behind it making it impossible to read.

Hope this helps to sort out the problem.

A-10C and KA-50 exports working fine for me now. The F-15C exported VSD is not working.

I am still unable to get any of my exports working. I did essentially the same thing, and copied over my valid config that works for DCS. I even tried copy and pasting the contents into a new config. 1.5 refuses to use my exports. Anyone have any ideas?

The Export of the Data is working in generell for the CDU and also for the MFCDs. But there are still some issues that I am not able to solve. As you can see in the pic attached, there is still this Background implemented. But only in my CDU-Screen and not in my MFCD. Further there are some lines in the CDU double-layed.

Getting similar issues. I export screens to a second monitor for A-10C; I followed the exact same procedure* to setup 1.2.16 and 1.5; works well on 1.2.16 but not so good on 1.5.

*1. Add the following file "D:\DCS World OpenBeta\Config\MonitorSetup\MultiMonitor01.lua" (contents at end of post to avoid clutter)

2. Set the displays to MultiMonitor01 in options

3. Set resolution to 1920x2160 in options

4. Replace the appropriate *_init.lua files with those from here (BTW, many thanks to whoever posted these).

1.5 I get this:

Or this on the ground: (note that by this point I have stopped the displays showing in the 3d cockpit).

After fiddle-farting with it last night, I got the MFCDs working as intended. However none of my other exports are working (clock, RWR, UHF Freq, counter measures, etc). I figured out that 1.5 wasn't taking the old name of the MFCD (ED_A10C_LEFT/RIGHT_ MFCD) so I'm wondering if this is coming down to a naming issue. I'm going to play around with it now that I'm fresh and not tired to see what I can come up with.

To export clock, rwr, etc you have to install an export mod,

with every patch/update, DCS moves modded files to a /Backup/ folder in the DCS Directory.

The names you listed are not the stock names, they are the names from the "all exports on" mod.

So check for a /Backup/ folder then look for A-10C/Cockpit/Scripts/

Stock MFD View port names are:

RIGHT_MFCD

LEFT_MFCD

I have 4 monitors running. 1 main mon and 3 usb. 2 are lilliput 8 inch, 1 is lilliput 10 inch. In the beta it is not exporting to my small units even with the exact same monitor configuration that Im using in my normal game. I see static images of terrain.

update

I reverted by mfd's back to the old naming convention ie ED_A10C_RIGHT_MFCD back to RIGHT_MFCD. and now it works again. Yea!!! So what is the old CDU name. I tried just CDU but no joy.
